JJs POV
I am getting coffee with Maya today. I'm a little excited for it to be just the two of us.
Emily will be keeping Mara here with her while Carina comes and hangs out. Mara seemed to really like her so I think she will be okay
Since I'm going out right after breakfast I hope to be home before lunch because I don't know if Emily will be able to get her to eat
Since I emailed Delilah yesterday she told me she would call when there is a court date....
The three of us just finished breakfast, even Emily. She has been wanting to set a good example for Mara.
"Alright I'm going to go get dressed" I tell Emily and walk back to our room, throwing on a White House with black jeans and walking back out
"That's my shirt" Emily chuckles and I smile
"It was in my closet" I shrug
"What do you mean your closet!? We share the closet" Emily exclaims and laugh
"Go get dressed unless you want to stay in a tank top all day" I smirk and she shakes her head and walks back the hallway
"Mara... come help momma pick out your clothes" I say and she gets off the couch and follows me to her room
"What will it be today?" I ask and she stands next to me
"Um.. like you" she says and I nod, I got her a white shirt and a pair of black leggings and helped her get dressed And we stood in front of her mirror
"I look like momma!" She exclaims happily
"Sure do baby girl" I smile and pick her up and we go out to the living room just as Maya and Carina arrived
"Hey guys come on in" I smile opening the door to let them in
"Hi bambina" Carina smiles
"Hi Rina" Mara smiles
"I look like momma today" Mara giggles
"Yea you do" Maya smiles and Emily comes out to us
"Jayje Penelope called and... oh hey guys" Emily says and kisses my cheek
"Penelope said what now?" I chuckle
"Oh just wanted to know if she could bring Jack over later I told her I'd talk to you" she says and I nod, maybe that will be good having Mara play with a kid around her age
"That's fine" I tell her and she nods
"Alright Mara... mommas going to go with Maya now okay?" I tell her and she tightens her grip
"No I go with you momma" she says and I sigh
"You won't have any fun..." I say and she pouts, she hasn't actually cried in front of anyone but Emily and I. Not even Pen,
"Can I hold you bambina? Maybe we can watch a film while your momma is out" Carina suggest and Mara looks at me
"It's okay baby I promise.. Emmy is still here" I say and kiss her head and she nods and allows Carina to take her from me. I did not expect that at all
"Be good. I love you guys" I say and walk out of the apartment with Maya
We both got into my car and I drove us to a nice little cafe not far from the apartment
"So I talked to my parents, which i think Carina already told you" she tells me and I nod, taking a sip of the coffee I had ordered
"Well" she chuckles
