They sat down to eat and after the first bite Seamus didn't have time to say how much he liked it since he practically inhaled the thing.

Wendy approached with two girls dressed in maid outfits.

"Master, sorry to interrupt your lovely breakfast. But I only need a moment of your time."

Cal swallowed a bite that made up have a piece of French toast. "Sure, Wendy. How may I help?"

She stood to the side and directed his attention to the girls behind her. "These are some new guild members that joined while you were training the girls in the dark woods. May I present to you Nyana, level 56 catgirl monk. And Yan, level 57 human samurai. They were already adventurers from a dissolved guild and were wandering until they found ours. They are very capable."

"Hmmmmmmmm...." Cal popped from his seat and began inspecting the girls like he would finely groomed show ponies. He literally poked and prodded them. He poked Nyana's ears as if to test their elasticity. He prodded Yan's scar and her muscles. He even squatted and watched Nyana's tail wag back and forth.

"Hmm..."

"What's he doing?" Seamus asked.

Ophelia leaned over the table bracing herself with one hand. With her free hand she pressed her finger over Seamus's lips. "Shhh... ah ah... shhhhhhhhh. Silence, Cabin boy. He's judging the noooooobs."

Seamus blushed like a strawberry in a suit. He couldn't help but realize how adorable this sweet little girl was.

I must protect this smile. He promised himself.

While he was distracted Ophelia stuffed a fork full of French toast in his mouth.

Cal stood in front of Yan, he stared her down. He put his hands on his hips and leaned back in and exaggerated fashion he then headbutted Yan.

Kawham!

Before Seamus could spit out his food in surprise, Ophelia slapped his mouth forcing him to swallow it and choke. "Don't Spit out my food!"

Oracles don't mess around.

Yan didn't move, Cal inspected the damage, but Yan had her arms crossed and didn't budge. Cal smirked giving off the "this pleases me" aura. Yan returned the cocky grin.

"You pass!" Cal exclaimed. Then he turned his attention over to Nyana.

Nyana had a pleasant cat-like expression on her face. She seemed totally indifferent to the man who just headbutted her best friend.

He held up the meaty part of his hand to her mouth.

"Bite."

"Nom." She bit him with no hesitation.

"Perfect! You both pass!"

Cal pranced around behind them, "Come join us, I'll whip up a plate for the both of you two." He eagerly shoved them into seats at the table. "Ophelia, can you entertain our guests?"

Ophelia stood on her chair and saluted. "Aye aye, papa."

All seemed well as Cal brought out a couple more plates of French toast.

Three elves, walked in the front door and walked passed the front desk.

"I didn't actually believe there would be a guild standing as long as this one. So this shabby tundra is the Veranda Oatkeepsakes. It's not as full of delinquents as the others I'll give it that." The first elf said, he was an elf nobleman by the way he dressed and held himself.

The two elves following him didn't seem to be any more than guards.

"Welcome to Verdant Oathkeepers! My name is Cal, I am the guildmaster of this humble establishment." Cal confidently presented himself before the noble with a healthy smile.

"My name is Lord Groveon Bansfivner of the Sediki house, but of course you know of me."

"I can't say I'm familiar with every minor noble in the city since I've only just moved back to the city."

Fauna had informed Cal of all the major nobles, especially the ones who are pushing the Deist movement. The Sediki house was one of the three major families in the city, and he was the second in line which made him a big deal. Calling him a minor noble made a vein appear on his head.

"To what may I owe this visit, esteemed noble born?" Cal asked.

"I just came to check up on our resident criminal and blasphemer, Naomi Starchaser. She's been too quiet, I was worried something foul may have befallen her."

"Naomi, is doing fine. As you can see, she is surrounding herself with good influences." Cal showcased Naomi sitting with the lightning elementals.

Although powerful, the lightning elementals were blatant Taboos to the Deists compared to simple antics of Naomi. To say that she was in good company was practically an openly hostile comment at their party.

Ten'lo came in to the guild from the tavern, he'd been settling things with his dad and the sylvan knights to solidify the alliance with the city itself. Although the nobles played a major role on the law making side of the city and dealing with the day to day grind. The knights and the council took care of the city itself and its general welfare, like it's defenses and maintenance, even its expansion.

Ten'lo was finally released from his obligations and could begin his adventuring days today and slept in.

He froze sensing the mood. He began to sweat as he saw Cal facing off against a high ranking noble.

"Cal was it," Groveon's eye twitched but he maintained his composure. "I believe it is polite to give your full name when introducing yourself mister guildmaster."

"Normally, I just go by Cal..."

Ten'lo slowly tried to take a step back.

"Ten!" Cal called.

Ten'lo froze as every eye turned to him. "Y-yes?"

"We're pretty much brothers, right?"

"I mean, I guess."

"You're full name?"

"Uhh... Ten'lo O'heira von Dravenkin."

"There you go I am Ten'lo's brother, Cal O'heira von Dravenkin. If you must call me by my full name, there you have it." Cal smiled as if it were a simple mater-of-fact.

The Noble stood aghast, Cal has just done something egregious.
