Steve had been out to lunch with the team (Fury's treat) and the others smirked at how he kept glancing at you, the waitress, the entire meal. He called you over at least twenty times before the food even arrived, all for some trivial reason he seemed to forget the moment you stepped up with a bright smile. Even the elderly men behind them noticed and one turned to admonish Steve- with you standing right beside the blushing super-soldier.
