It was just another regular day for you at work as a SHIELD maintenance mechanic, fixing up this here burst pipe and defusing that there sabotage bomb. Lunch break rolled around swiftly, your favorite time of day, because it was when you got to talk to James Barnes, a great friend of yours and, quite possibly, almost something more. Today, however, you were running a little late and ended up in the line for tea behind Agent Barton, whom you'd met a few times before. He started flirting with you, apparently not noticing how uncomfortable you quickly became, while across the room, Bucky, who'd been watching, decided it was a good time to start casually playing with a knife on his belt. Barton noticed and backed off, leaving you raising an eyebrow at an approaching Bucky, still holding his knife.
