The party

So the captain's husband invited us to his birthday party. Which I'd love to go to because I would get to dress up, but it sounds like he really dose not want us there. Jake is trying to find good cop stories to tell Kevin but I know he is just gonna annoy him. "Jakie please just leave Kevin alone", I plead. "No he is going to love me", I roll my eyes. 

In the briefing room, Sarge starts to tell us how to behave at parties, which I already know. I'm literally always picked to go undercover at these kinds of parties. "Mary your job there is to keep an eye on your brother", "I already knew that" I'm making Jake come over to my house so I make sure he is there on time and is not dressed like he usually is.
We met the team in front of his house to make sure everyone was there and appropriate. But Scully was still in shorts. Then Jake pulled out a cheap bottle of wine and the rest pulled out the same one. "Am I the only one who spent more than 15 dollars", I ask disappointed. Where do you even get wine that cheap?

My brothers plan on telling cop stories went out the window the first minute we got in there. The cap and his husband seem like they would get along. I obviously didn't fit in here so I just pretended to be under Cover. It was working well Jake was just following me and I was talking about stones with a jewelry maker.
When I turned to tell Jake something he was gone. "Shit", I cursed in my head. I went looking for him and he was standing talking to cap and Kevin with Sarge. I went over and Sarge gave me a look at what happened to your job.
"Jake let me in", he opens the door and I walk into the bathroom. "Why are you in here" I need to find that article that Kevin was talking about", I sighed. "Jake he was being mean to you trying to catch you in a lie", I say looking in the mirror fixing my hair. "Now come on", "Go ahead I have to pee after being in the bathroom for so long" I roll my eyes and leave.
I was talking with the Sarge and some other gentlemen and I see my brother go upstairs and it's clearly blocked off. I Excuse my self and run after him with the Sarge behind me. "Jacob what the hell", but we didn't have time to yell at home because the couple was coming upstairs. So we hid in the bathroom. We are so getting fired. But when they started fighting Captain was yelling at him for not being nice to us and even better he stuck up for Jake about everything and me for the wine. And by the way, I spent money on that wine and offered me the whole damn bottle. 

Well, we were caught but before we left I hugged the captain who surprisingly hugged me back. "Thanks for sticking up for us", then I let go grabbed my coat and brother and left.
