Me and Lapis sat ontop of a giant sea spiral side by side with our legs swinging.
" So...what did you mean by 'your just like me'?" Lapis asked me
" I guess i meant that by...we're both Lazulis?" I say unsure of my own words at this point
" Wait-really? your a lapis lazuli like me?" She said slightly shocked
" Well, not exactly like you Lapis....I'm an Indigo Lazuli." I say
" I have never met one of those, so your still a lazuli like me just different?" She giggled as i hummed a 'yes'
" Who's the 'Steven'?" She asked
" oh! Steven is my non-biological son" And that led to alot of explaining which i was quite fine with, my thoughts soon wandered to the other's.
Were they coming to look for me?
Garnet....would she forgive me?- no! i layed a hand on her! i shoudlnt of even done that!?!
Lapis had her head laying on my lap as i played with her hair as she vented with me adding in a few words here and there.
" Do you have a home residing on earth?" she asked me suddenly
" I-I uh, yeah i do Lapis. Why?" I said
" Oh....I just was wondering if you would join me back on HomeWorld." She said
" I...your gesture is kind and very considerate but I have no choice but to decline, thank you but no thank you...I have Steven and my friends not to mention i am courting smeone on this planet, i could never leave Earth, plus! i don't think HomeWorld is suited for me as much as you may think." I sigh out and continue to tie a little ribbon in her hair
" I-I get it...anyway, your being courted? a human?" She said with a laugh
I laughed as well "Oh heavens no! a human of all creatures would be the death of me!" i joked and we laughed together
" So, a gem then? you could bring them with you? to HomeWorld i mean" She offered
" hahaha, in hind sight maybe but in reality not a chance. You were so very close though she's a fusion-" her expression told me all i needed to know
" I know. Crazy right? it can't be helped. Love Is Love" I say while continueing to hum
"~ i love it how you try to get yourself to understand me i know you think im fine with everything that you have to say the lovely scent from your hair to the darkest words that i say you never know what i hide behind this smiling mask i know that im gonna lose you so why try to make this harder for me? from the times that we fight to the times that we make up from the times that i make you cry to the times that you make me wake up i love you more than i can express maybe thats the reason im so scared to you let go-~"
Voices interupt our little moment and we both sit up
" It's the others" I say softly as lapis clutches my hand tightly not having any plan of letting go either.
Lapis growled once hearing their voices get louder
" You shouldn't be here!" Lapis shouted
" She sensed us." I could hear Garnet say
" Lapis Lazuli! it's me, Steven! Mom, are you up there?!" Steven shouts
" Honey! Yes I am up here!...Muffin, can you get Steven up here with us? he isn't any threat and i think he may be able to heal your gem?" I say trying to convince her, she huffed
The water sloshes from the tower, as Lapis's face is formed on its wall.
" Go away! Before I make you." Lapis says
