So we were returning to the Warp Pad in the middle of a flower meadow, discussing our latest Gem monster encounter.
" I can't believe that went so well!" Pearl said as she wrapped an arm around my shoulders
" That was kinda great when you hit it with your spear and it went, like, 'bing-bong!' " Ame said
Pearl smiles proudly and blushes " And the way you were circling around it? Almost looked like strategy."
Ame laughs and blushes while giving me a wink " Well, you know, I can do that stuff, too."
Garnet sends a bubbled gem, as Steven emerges from the meadow with runny eyes and nose.
" Come on now honey!" I shouted behind me
" Wait up!..." I hear Steven shout and panting heavily " Sorry I couldn't help much, I think the flowers are making me- Ah... Aaahhh..." He sneezes on Garnet's hip " Sorry, Garnet."
" I'll live." Garnet said, i bit my lip and went over quickly pulling a hanky out of my gem and cleaning Garnet up before tossing the hanky now covered in snot aside somewhere.
" I was fi-..." She sighed while smiling at me " Thank you Love" I pecked her cheek and we contnued onward
" Oh, Steven, you're supposed to sneeze into your antecubital fossa." Pearl said
" My what?" Steven asked confused as all hell
"Your... uh..." Pearl started
" Your elbow honey bun"I finished and pointed to my inner elbow
Steven looks at his elbow as we warp out. We travel through the warp stream when Steven feels the urge to sneeze again.
" Do it at someone other than me!?" I shouted and hid behind Ame
" Do it at Pearl!" Ame and I yelled as she points at Pearl
Pearl then panics " Steven, your fossa!"
Steven sneezes downwards, propelling himself upward in the warp stream.
" Steven!?" I shouted
" Waah! Wha?" Steven starts breathing heavily " Whoa."
Steven's head pops out of the warp stream as i started to panic and jumped up grabbing his leg and i pull Steven back into the stream " Steven honey! Be careful! It's kinda very dangerous to stick your head out of the stream like that!"
" There's not much air, and it's very cold." Garnet said as she flicks the frozen snot off Steven's nose
" You guys, I saw something out there!" Steven said
" What?" Pearl asked
" Honey? what?" I asked
" Something warping!" Steven said
" Oh shizzle sticks!" I gasped, Pearl placed a hand onto my shoulder
" Steven, that's not possible. Is your vision blurry from the pollen?" Pearl said
" I can see perfectly..." He squints his eyes " Pearl? I know there's something out there!"
" I think Steven might be onto something, we should-" got cut off
" There's nothing out there, Steven, Indy. There hasn't been anything else for a long, long time." Garnet said
I gently petted Stevens hair as i i was lying on Stevens bed with him on my stomach, he was staring at the ceiling and trying to sleep for the night. He slowly drifts off to sleep making me smile, but then snaps himself back awake. We turned to look at the Temple Gate's warp pad, when the kitchen refrigerator suddenly opens, startling him.
