Chapter 39: Fanclub Fight

"Look, it's finally moving." A deep voice said.

She heard a slap and a cry out of pain.

"Ouch, SHE'S finally moving." 

Jennie fluttered her eyes open to see her and Jisoo's friends hovering over the bed. 

She rubbed her eyes again to make sure she saw right. 

"What are you guys doing?" She asked them. 

Do I look like an exhibit?

"We should be asking you that." Joy replied. 

"At least let go of it now. The poor girl's probably in pain from being in that position all night long." Irene told her. 

"Sitting up on the floor...her back must be killing her." Sana said.

"She worked the night shift too…" Seulgi added.

They all were trying not to burst out laughing at Jennie staring back at them still confused.

"What are you guys even saying?" Jennie yawned.

"Enjoyed your sleep, princess?" Rosé asked.

Jennie noticed she just entered the room with her hand wrapped around Lisa's arm.

She nodded, rubbing her eyes. 

"I don't think Jisoo unnie did though." Lisa smiled at her weirdly.

"Why would Jisoo not enjoy her sleep?" 

They all looked to her side.

What's wrong with their necks?

Tzuyu signalled her to look in the same direction. 

Jennie yawned, turning down at her hand. 

She suddenly realized she's holding onto something. 

Pulling back the sheets for a closer look, her eyes travelled along the arm to the owner of whoever's hand she was holding. 

She choked on her yawn when she saw Jisoo slumped over beside the bed. 

Jennie flinched when all her friends started laughing. 

"We'll leave you to explain that." Irene made them all leave the room.

Jennie tried to shake Jisoo with no avail. The girl finally moved when she whispered her name for the seventeenth time. 

Noticing Jisoo's discomfort, Jennie finally let go of her arm allowing her to stretch. 

"Goodmorning." Jisoo whispered in her raspy morning voice. 

Jennie gulped and tried to push back any unnecessary thoughts. 

"Did I wake you up?" Jisoo asked, "Sorry if I moved my arm a couple of times." 

Jennie shook her head. "No, it's the other way around." 

Jisoo got up to stretch properly and watched Jennie climb out of bed. 

Jennie decided to use the washroom in this room and Jisoo left to use the other one.

Jisoo came back to see Jennie waiting for her on the bed.
 
"Ready to leave?" Jennie nodded.

"I'm sorry I used your arm, I'm used to.." 

"...Cuddling your plushie to sleep. I know." Jisoo finished for her.

She remembered.

"Was I a pain to take care of last night?" Jennie asked guiltily.
