Chapter 12.

I fluttered my wings as I flew above Gardenia with Bloom by my side and the Pixies following behind us while we were getting closer to Bloom's house, worried for her parents.

When we finally made it at her front door, I used my magic to open the door and flew in immediately, Mike and Vanessa looking quite shocked and worried.

"Mom, dad!" Bloom called out as she landed on the ground. 

"Bloom?" Vanessa asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"There's trouble in Gardenia!" I exclaimed, as I felt a wave of worry and stress wash over me.

"Huh, where did you go?" Mike questioned as his eyes widened. "What's going on?"

"You are in danger." Bloom explained and used her magic to slam the door close, adding a protection spell on the door.

"Danger?" Vanessa repeated in shock. "What type of danger?"

"No time to explain." I shook my head before turning to the Pixies. "Pixies, we need to protect this house."

"Split up!" Bloom added quickly.

"On it [Name] and Bloom!" Cherie nodded before flying off along with the other Pixies to protect the house except for Amore and Chatta.

"Can someone please explain to me why we are in danger?" Mike frowned, getting tired of this.

"Vampires." I explained briefly. "They have taken over Gardenia." I glanced at the two Pixies who remained. "Amore and Chatta wil stay and guard here, call out for us as soon as you spot them."

"Aye Aye!" Chatta nodded as she and Amore flew over to the window to look out for the vampires.

"But I don't understand." Fear filled Vanessa's eyes. "Vampires aren't real."

"They are now." I stated while placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We will explain more later."

"[Name], Bloom, hurry!" Chatta called out. "Here they come!"

I walked over to the window to get a better look, vampires started approaching until they were a few meters away, already standing in a battle stance, in great speed, two male vampires got closer to the window, growling at us.

I used my magic, creating a barrier on the window so that the vampires wouldn't get in, also buying us some time.

"Bloom I'll stay here to protect your parents, you go upstairs!" I commanded before turning to the Pixies that gathered back here. "Lockette, Cara, you go with her!"

"Right!" The both of them nodded, Bloom immediately ran out with the two that flew after her.

The two male vampires managed to break through my barrier and get inside making my eyes widen in shock until they returned to their normal size as I glared at the two vampires that were looking at me with killing intent.

One of the vampires charged at me, using his long nails to slash at me but I jumped back, avoiding that attack by an inch.

I lifted my leg and kicked the vampire away making him crash into an wall, defeating one of the vampires for now.

Soon the other vampire attacked, my aura glowed a bright color as I held my hand out while I used my other hand to open the window with my magic. 

"Water Canon!" A strong water beam shot out of the palm of my hand, my attack sent the vampire flying out of the window and I soon did the same with the other vampire before closing the windows and creating a new barrier on the window, knowing that the vampires were too weak to break my barrier now.
