"Young master why are we in the forest? I thought you specifically told us to work at the mine" Ask Sir Pillion as he roam his eyes around the dense forest they are currently at.

"For now we should focus on gaining enough materials to sell down the mountain to buy the necessities of the people" Answered Knox who was beside Rosh.

He was at the very center of the group and was the only one beside Rosh who's sword was still sheathed

Many of the knights who accompany him was not informed about the plan although they knew that they are going for a hunt today, they didn't know what was the cause.

"Anyway, how many did go with us Rosh?" Whisper Knox to the man who was silently standing in his left side.

"Not much. As you order we left half of the knights to continue working on the mine while the others was to guard the town. The plan didn't sit well with the people of Belvon so none of them came with us" Report Rosh.

So I must have around six knights at most, excluding Sir Pillion who was chosen as the captain for today's hunt. We are quite lacking but this should be enough.

Knox look at his surrounding, checking where the scattered knights is. They are not that far away. Some are ahead of him with Sir Pillion, some are behind and some are in the sides.

Knox clap his hands a few times that caught attention of the knights who was looking out for any potential threat that might appear.

Upon hearing Knox call all the scattered knights gather in front of Knox. They are even in line with Sir Pillion at the very center upfront.

"Listen here!, our goal for today was to hunt as many of horned rabbits and deathworm. We are going to sell their drops to sustain our needs for a few more weeks" Explained Knox as he show a piece of paper where a portrait of the two said target is drawn.

The knights didn't dare to question any of what he said and just nod there heads.

"We are approaching this monster territory so be prepared. Our goal is to atleast slain fifty horned rabbits and fifty deathworm. Now move!, we don't have that much time with us!!" Shout Knox lastly that the knights immediately agreed on.

Their group then continue to walk further in the forest until they reach the said territory of the horned rabbits.

Immediately many of the said monster appear and attack the knights. But they are well prepared and easily counter the monster attack.

After a few minutes Knox's group manage to kill half of the goal they are eyeing too. They then move forward to find more of the horned rabbits dens.

They put the slained monster in the cart they bring along that was being carried by a horse.

After a tiring fighting Knox group rest for a bit and eat. They butcher the body of the horned rabbits and makes a stew out of it. It was quite tough to eat due to it's chewy meat but it was not a hindrance for the hungry and tired knights.

They even start harvesting the horns and hide of the monster to save some time. Soon after, they start walking again. They walk and walk until they reach a muddy part of the forest.

The mud was too thick that Knox group have a hard time moving. The mud was about their knees making it hard to take a step.

Although hard, Knox group manage to fight and slain the deathworm that was leaving in the thick mud.

Although casualties is inevitable. One knight broke his leg when the monster swarm over him. Luckily Rosh was near and manage to save the knight.

Even Rosh and Knox was force to draw their swords and fight along side the other knights. They didn't manage to complete their goals as the monster start to run away when they are put in the disadvantage.

But Knox was quite contented with the results they accomplished. After taking a bath in a nearby river. They rest for a bit, some start harvesting the materials from the slained monster, some just decided to take a quick nap and some clean their swords.

Knox on the other hand help heal the injured knight. He clean his wounds truly, and help the other knight who serve as their group physician put bandages on the injured knight.

Thirty minutes passed Knox and his group decided to go back to the town with two carts full of monster corpses.

When they arrive in the entrance of the town the town chief and Harlan was waiting for them. Some people who was curious also go to see what they have brought.

Some of the kids presents in the entrance immediately felt terrified when they saw the mount of monster corpses. Some of the town folk also shows disdain for what they brought but some are quite delighted when they saw the dead horned rabbits.

"Thank you my lord. We are really grateful for this" Muttered the town chief with tears in his eyes as he show his gratitude to Knox who was busy helping cooking the horned rabbits meat.

"It is my duty. As the new lord of this town it was my duty to ensure that my people have things to eat"Knox replied with his signature smile again.

It even caught the hearts of some of the townsfolk near him. They took show their gratitude to Knox and start helping the knights out to prepare the food.

Knox ofcourse reply with his innocent smile while comforting the people that it was nothing at all or that it was his duty to do so .

Ofcourse the citizens fall for his innocent acts and start lowering their guard down around Knox.

"Hehehehe"Snicker Knox with a sinister smile on his lips as he watch the people happily eat down as he was in the balcony connected to his office.

"That was quite the smile. They will probably change their minds if they saw that" muttered a familiar voice beside Knox.

Before he could turn around something rough brush against his left cheek. It was a wooden cup full of water.

Knox took it and drank the liquid inside. He then let of a satisfied sigh after.

"They wouldn't know if you shut your mouth" Replied Knox with a sly smile as he glance sidely to the man beside him.

Rosh just laugh it off as he drank from the cup he was holding.

A silence then envelope the two as they silently watch the people beneath them eat happily.

"So what's your plan now?" Ask Rosh after that makes Knox glance at him then back to the happy crowd again.

"What plan?" Knox ask as he move his hand holding the cup in circle. Moving the remaining liquid inside in circle.

"After you gain their thrust what's your plan?" Ask Rosh. Knox open his mouth to speak but no word came out.

"I will...turn this town into my hideout" Answered Knox that makes Rosh snickers.

"What are you? A Villian who needs some hideout?" Mock Rosh that Knox just laugh it off.

"Laugh all you want but thrust me. This town will be one of the safest place after some year" Knox said that quite confused Rosh.

"Safest? Why? Is there something up a head that we should be prepared?" Ask Knox as he turn his full attention to Knox . But Knox doesn't even give him any glance as he remains staring at the happy crowd beneath them.

"A war will spark within the east after we established the mine. And that war will wipe out half of the east nobility leaving this territory vulnerable to foreign attacks" Said Knox that makes Rosh frowned.

What is this boy up to again?

He ask his self as he try to read Knox expression but he couldn't pinpoint what was the later was thinking.

"And i believe you will be somewhat involve in this territorial war for you to know it this advance" Replied Rosh with seriousness plastered over his face.

Knox didn't answer and just start to stretch his arms up in the air. He then face Rosh and smile at him before he turn around to come inside.

"Of course i do, after all i will be the center of it" Said Knox as he walk passed Rosh.
