"My  lord" Greet  Benjamin as Knox enter the room along with Rosh behind him.

Knox just gestured his hand to answer instead of saying a word. Benjamin doesn't mind as he was use to the lord's silence.

I mean, his like that to everyone too

"I have completed my mission my lord, here is my report" Approach Benjamin as he handed Knox who just seated in one of the sofa present in the room.

Knox took the paper off his hand and began scanning through it.

"Well done" Knox praise upon reading the content of the report that makes Benjamin proud of his work.

"But was it true that the child have been abandoned?" He ask after.

"Yes, his mother died after an unsatisfied guest from the brothel she was working at beat her to death" Answered Benjamin that makes Knox stomach curl.

"Tsk!" Knox click his tongue as he shake his head slightly upon hearing Benjamin.

Typical

"So the kids must been out in the street then?" Ask Knox after.

"He was, he use to live in the brothel along with his mother but the owner kick him out when her mother passed away. Since then he've been living at the back alley along with the other orphans" Answered Benjamin.

"Is that so? Did his father never look for him? I'm pretty sure he was informed of it" Added Knox

"It looks like the Viscount was not particularly participative when raising the boy. Although upon some digging it seems that he meet him a few times when he was far younger" Said Benjamin.

Knox let go of deep sigh as he closes his eyes.

"Where is he?" He ask after a few while.

"Next room my lord" Informed Benjamin.

Knox stand up and gesture Benjamin to guide him. The man gladly do so and guide him to the next room where the boy was soundly sleeping.

"Hmmm.... He must have taken after his mother" Commented Rosh as he examine the sleeping boy.

Rosh didn't exactly meet the Viscount yet but he do see him in newspapers which he love reading every morning.

"Better, that way he won't have to deal with his father old enemies when he grew up just because he looks like him" Said Knox as he also get a closer look of the child.

Or hate his self when he start loathing his father in the nearby future just because of the resemblance they hold.

"What was his name?" Ask Knox as he sat down on the end of the bed.

"Arthur my lord" Benjamin answered.

"How old?" Knox ask again

"He just turn six a few weeks back" Answered Benjamin again.

Not to far from me then, only two years as i will be eight after a few while

"How did you lure him into going with you anyway?, I mean his a child and all but he wouldn't be that stupid to just follow you is he?" Commented Rosh who was standing near the head of the bed, looking down on the sleeping boy.

"I lured him with food. He seems starve so i thought using food as a bait will do and it did" Answered Benjamin.

Indeed the child was malnourished. He looks all bones and all. Also covered in bruises and unattended wounds.
