Duchess' POV
Three days.
Three long excruciating days thanks to what Alice told me.
And then the phone rang.
Her voice was panicky and even through the phone I could hear her heart beat and the worried noises from the others.
"You need to get back here. As quickly as you can." She sounded desperate.
"Why?" I was confused.
"She's coming!" She yelled.
"Bella who is coming?" I said directing her to tell me.
"Esme."
And with that one name, my dead heart dropped.
"Bella, calm down, you need to breath and tell me what's going on."
"Chess, please, you need to be here in at least two days max. She's bringing an army so bring yours." And with that the line went dead.
My visit to Forks is going to be a lot sooner than I thought.
