Something happened during Nanami's after party. Something quite strange. Everything just went... perfectly fine. There were zero confrontations. Jokes were shared and everyone just...enjoyed their time.

But why did it feel peculiar?

Well, it was because everyone seemed to have forgotten about Gojo's situation. It all felt abnormally normal. It wasn't bad at all.

However Y/N and Gojo were the only ones who faked it all. Y/N was hanging on a thread and Gojo's thread was snapping by the second.

But they made it. Gojo might've been complaining here and there and Y/N tried to avoid him, but...they made it.

After that, everyone went home as to where Gojo and Y/N went to Nanami's house to talk about Gojo's planned rehabilitation.

Gojo was tapping his foot rapidly, not caring what was going to be said because he knew for sure he wasn't going anywhere. He'd do it himself, and he won't say it again.

Nanami exhaled and prepared himself. "Alright, Gojo-

"I don't mean to cut you off, but I just want you to know that I appreciate your hospitality towards Y/N and I, especially Y/N. You're like a second best friend of mine and-

"Gojo, Gojo." Nanami stops him. He wouldn't believe that Gojo is trying to use his chance at manipulating him.

"Whatever you're doing, Gojo, it won't work on me. I already told you what was going to happen. Y/N and I agreed to this so nothing you say will change my mind."

However, Gojo knows this. Nanami never listens to him because he's well...Gojo and he's going through something right now. However, he knows he'd say yes to Y/N.

"I'm not trying to change your mind with anything it's just that you don't know how embarrassing it is to be like this it's all." He says, now biting at his nails and staring across the room as his foot taps got quicker.

"I know I don't know how you feel, however that is why Y/N and I want what's best for you allowing you to go to rehab and-

"W-why can't you do it?" He cuts in, finally looking at him. "Hm? I-I can stay home with Y/N a-and detox there are you give us weekly checkups. Just please...please don't bring the school board into this. I know they're probably wondering why they can't get through to me but I promise I'll get better. Please?" He begs.

Nanami clenched his jaw and Y/N just sat in silence. She thought of it as a good idea since she doesn't want to make Gojo feel embarrassed, however, a rehabilitation center would be nice.

"No. You'll only relapse. Not only that, Alisha and I can't leave town for honeymoon due to the fact that you're not strong enough to take over the school whilst I'm gone. Sure I'm not an almighty strong God, but I am apart of Jujutsu Tech. The board will only raise eyebrows anyways, like they've been doing for a while now."

"Keep us here then. Y/N and I wouldn't get in the way of you and Alisha and you'd also be in close proximity of us." He suggests, getting a bit excited at his idea. However Nanami was not having it at all.

"For the last time no."

"M-maybe we could give it try." Y/N says.

"Y/N-

"If he tries anything I'll call you and then we'll send him there and tell the board. Just give him three months. I...I think we can do it. Besides...I can tell he wants to change." Y/N says.

But that's a lie. She just doesn't want Gojo to leave her side. She's afraid that she wouldn't know how to love without him. He still makes her heart flutter and she still gets a bit shy. She wants to give them one last chance at sparking what they had back then completely.
