WALLY POV

It's the next day, I feel guilty about not talking to Y/n after they got into trouble yesterday.

But forget that, I'm in a desperate need of coffee, I was up late again. I called Y/n for coffee and waited quietly as I looked through emails in case I had to schedule something soon.

Y/n opened the door very slowly before walking in with puffy red eyes, setting the coffee on my desk before trying to walk away.

"Wait wait wait, Y/n come here now."

Y/n froze instantly and hesitantly turned around to face me, refusing to say a word.

"Have you been..crying?" My eyes widened for just a quick moment, observing them.

"I'm sorry, I tried to not cry I just can't help it." Their voice cracked and it honestly hurt to hear. I stood up and quickly walked over to them, putting my hands on both of their shoulders.

"Is this from yesterday I assume?" I kept my voice monotone, I would be weak to let them know that I genuinely care, right?"

"N-no?" Their lying was terrible but I brushed that off.

"Sit down, do you need something? Coffee? A nap?" I sighed a bit upset that my work is already being disturbed but I had to understand that Y/n will forever be more important. I can't quite understand why I think that but I just do I guess.

"Y'know what, just take a quick nap. You have work, I apologize but I will only handle your work for about 45 minutes. Please make this nap worth your while." Without listening to them try to object I closed the door and walked over to their office.

Damn u forgot my coffee.. Whatever

I sat down and got to work on their papers. I would have to stay up later once again if I end up missing out on work.

About 45 minutes passed and I got up exiting out if Y/n's office. Pleased now that it was over.

Opening the door I see them laying their head down on my desk, snoring quietly.

I tap their shoulder a couple times causing them to lazily wake up. They look at me and stand up.

"I- err thank..." They stammered on their words as they stumbled out of my office.

I felt even more guilty that I had made them cry majority of last night.

I looked down at the necklace.

I put it in my palm to look at it without taking it off.

I sit down.

"Y/n. What are you doing to me?"

I sighed as I smiled, feeling my face make an unnatural expression. Well, it's unnatural for me to smile at anything other than a dead employee but you get the point.

I think I will apologize soon, but how?

My mind wandered, it's a terrible issue that they are still stuck in my head. But I enjoy it so much I just can't fight it any longer.
