YN POV

A few days have passed, seemingly normal, I spoke with Eddie during my breaks, he eventually introduced me to Frank. They're perfect for each other I must say.

I became close friends with an employee, Sally. She's very helpful in days I feel overwhelmingly sorrowful.

Now that I've been making real progress with friends I've felt all the more comfortable working here at Rainbow Factory.

I woke up, stretching as I stood up. I looked through my clothes and settled on something that was simple but good enough to my liking. (Give yourself a little freedom and choose ur own clothes 😭)

I put the factory's coat on afterwards and got ready for work.

Maybe I'll get myself a snack first, haven't had decent breakfast in some time.

I made way to the break room from my dorm. I walked towards the vending machine and started to choose out a drink along with a quick snack.

WALLY POV

I waited for about 30 minutes just to watch Y/n walk into the break room before walking past swiftly to their dorm.

Unlocked? Unsafe but great.

I slid in and placed my item down quickly leaving the dorm and quietly shutting the door. I speed walked back to my office in hopes to not run into Y/n yet.

YN POV

"Goodbye Eddie, goodbye Frank!" Running into them at the break room is always enjoyable, they're very interesting.

Walking up to my office I heard someone scream for me.

"Hey! Bosses Assistant, whatever your name is I need you!"

What a gentleman...

"What is it.. Uh... Jeremy?" Reading the sloppy writing on his name tag I just stared at him for a moment.

"One of the machines had broken down, we need help."

Do I look like a damn mechanic to him?

"Is there nobody to do that job?"

"They called in sick today and the rest of the people they work under them can't figure it out."

What the hell.. So unprofessional.

I let Jeremy walk me to the machine and he pointed at the side.

"They can't figure this out?" I groaned in frustration.

"Jeremy go get me tools, now. "

I forced a negative demeanor because I wasn't in any way fit to do this.

Jeremy soon returned with 2 slightly small cardboard boxes.

"You're a life saver! Thank you!" Jeremy grinned at me and I could only grin slightly as I stomped away, knowing I already had paperwork due today.

Sally walked with me from behind.

"Hey! Uh- Jeremy actually caused all of that, he was walking with what I assume was something for the experiments but he tripped and the pressure of what was in the bottles he carried was so bad it both melted and scratched up some of the machine. The people who tried to work on it couldn't repair much.."

With the barrage of words escaping Sally's mouth I made it to my office.

"Nice talk Sally but I have major work to get done, see you."

I closed the door behind me and got to work instantly.

The day went by normally besides one thing, Wally hadn't asked for coffee or really anything. We haven't even seen each other today. But that was probably nothing.

The day was over and I had just finished making a small dinner for myself when I was in my dorm. I decided to lay down when I saw a note on my bed.

"Dear Y/n,

If you notice this letter I ask that you see me in my office after work tomorrow. I have to speak to you.

-Signed Walden"

Right below was a very small, delicate yet pretty flower. It wasn't big but it fit on the bottom of the page nicely and it was a beautiful blue color. I smiled at the sight of it before questioning what could possibly be the cause of this.

Wally is not this kind of man so why is he doing this?

I placed the stuff on the night stand near my bed and looked at the ceiling, thinking of possible outcomes for tomorrow until I fell asleep.
