WALLY POV

I paced around my office contemplating my decisions and if I should follow through or not. I took deep breaths and walked up to my intercom as I felt a few sweat beads drop from my forehead.

"Yes Boss?" A soft voice echoed through the small radio in his intercom. Y/N, the person I dreamt of having even if it seemed out of character for me.

"Please come to my office, it would be very appreciated."

Y/N didn't speak for a moment, most likely confused to how I was basically pleading for them to come.

"Um...alright, give me just a few."

I waited silently. My heart felt like it was racing too fast to be safe. I heart a knock on my door and I jerked to face the door and I walked up to it and opened the door.

"He-" I swiftly pulled Y/N in and closed the door; I shushed them quickly and once they calmed down a bit my expression softened.

"Y/N..Do not make fun of me but, you know how Valentines Day is arriving?"

"I— Yes?"

I took a small step back to give Y/N some air to breath and I looked down as I was unable to keep myself from turning a tint of red. It was an embarrassing situation but I had gone this far and couldn't back down anymore than I was trying to.

"I would like to celebrate with you Y/N. I know, I know I am not the type to say such stuff but although you're just my mere assistant, I have had eyes on you for a while. I do not know what is so different about you but the way you've been this entire time you've been here has made my mood significantly better. Y/N...I love you. I cannot describe how badly I need you. Please celebrate this holiday with me Y/N?"

Y/N blinked, no response came out of their mouth. I started to regret my decision.

"Fuck— I'm sorry Y/N this is extremely embarrassing!" I was angry at myself and felt terrible.

I wasn't focused on anything happening around me until I felt warm hands cupped around my face.

"Walden..you dumbass! I don't know what to say now." Y/N gave me a small smirk as they pulled my gently towards their face.

"May I?"

I didn't waste no time when they asked and kissed them instantly. Passionately if I must say.

The feeling of their lips touching mine felt surreal; my heart skipped beats and I didn't want this to ever end. I slowly wrapped Y/N in a tight hug before parting our lips for breath.

"I love you too Walden.." Y/N had shaky breath and it only made me enjoy this moment all the more as I went back for another kiss, this time leaving small pecks around their lips and cheeks turning their face red as they smiled widely. They look flustered and embarrassed and it make me—happy. I finally had Y/N, I couldn't ask for more from them. I felt my eyes burn a little as a tear ran down my cheek and I wiped it away quickly.

The hug tightened and Y/N made a small gasp for breath making me let go. I was so unbelievably grateful for Y/N.

"Happy Valentines Day Y/N."
