A man came to live in a hotel while he was travelling.
He asked for his room key and he went upstairs to that room.
He opened the door and he saw a really big, decorated room.
He was quite happy with the service.
At midnight, he was woken up by an awful sound.
It sounded like someone scratching their nails on the wall and he hated that sound.
He got out of his room to see which was the room that the sound was coming from.
Next to his room, was another room without a number.
The man was curious about what was happening in that room so he decided to look through the keyhole.
When he looked, he saw a woman with long hair standing there.
But she was not looking at him. She had her back turned to the door.
The man was confused. He went back to his room and slept.
Next morning,he was curious again. He wanted to see what was happening in the other room.
So he again looked through the keyhole and he could not see anything.
All he saw was red color. He thought that she had covered the room with red paper or something so he could not spy on her.
That was the day when the man needed to get out of the hotel so he packed his clothes and went downstairs.
He asked the lady what was up with the other room without a number.
She asked him whether he peeped through the keyhole or not.
He honestly answered yes. So she told him the story of the woman.
The woman was murdered by her husband in that room. Now whoever looks straight into her eyes is supposed to be dead by one week.
"Just never look into her eyes. They are bright red" she said.
