Chuuya has a hair appointment today.

It was Saturday, and he always scheduled an appointment at his regular hair salon on Saturdays. See, work was exhausting. And unnecessary for so many reasons. And after a long week of work, there was nothing possibly better than relaxing in a hairdresser's chair, getting his hair spa routine done. Followed up by a massage and hair wash, of course.

This was pretty much Chuuya's favourite part of his whole week. He found his regular salon about two years ago; accidentally stumbled upon it while trying to find a restaurant, where he was supposed to meet a friend from school. As a date. The friend never showed up, and Chuuya ended up going to the hairdressers' instead. After all, it was common knowledge that they lent the best ears to all of one's problems.

In hindsight, Chuuya had pretty bad luck. That very first night at the salon, his hairdresser had ended up being this really annoying guy. The man had fluffy-looking brown hair, and oh my god, he wore so many bandages. A mummy, that's what he was. Other than that, as Chuuya found out during his subsequent hair appointments, that guy sometimes wore glasses too.

As for his name, it was so clearly displayed on his name tag. But well, that first night, Chuuya had just been interested in cursing the fuck out of his 'date' who had never shown up. Even if the hairdresser radiated an aura of being a pure annoyance, it didn't really matter, because that was surely a one-time thing. Chuuya was just supposed to get a hair wash and a head massage, vent lots about that bitch who stood him up, and then go home and never come to the salon again.

Obviously, that didn't happen. Chuuya had ended up going back to the salon exactly a week later, but only because they had wonderful smelling shampoos! To his great distaste and misfortune, his hairdresser once again ended up being that mummy guy from the previous week. His name was Dazai, as Chuuya noted way later during the second appointment.

Ever since then, whenever Chuuya went to visit the salon, he would always end up getting Dazai as his hairdresser. It didn't matter if it was a spontaneous trip, or if he'd called in advance to book an appointment. His stylist would just always be Dazai.

In fact, Chuuya tried to test out a theory once. He called the salon and specifically asked for this other hair stylist named Atsushi. He'd received an appointment confirmation and everything, but when he showed up for the same, he was informed that 'Atsushi-kun suddenly had a family emergency and had to leave early.' As expected, his appointment was transferred over to that Dazai, who ended up doing Chuuya's hair once again.

This just proved Chuuya's theory. The universe clearly hated him, and was working against him!! Otherwise, there was no way he should be forced to deal with someone he dislikes so much so frequently, right?

But well, Chuuya just gave up on trying to change his hair stylist soon enough. After all, Dazai didn't exactly do a bad job. And despite being such an annoying fish, he really did give the best massages. So, Chuuya supposed he could deal with a very annoying guy, if it was just for the sake of relaxing massages after a long week at work.

Today, Chuuya called in advance to book an appointment.

As usual, it was Yosano, the receptionist, who picked up the phone. Greeting her customer in a kind voice, "Hello~ Thank you for calling Armed Agency Hair!"

Busy typing away at his laptop, Chuuya laughed at the phone, "It's Chuuya, Yosano-san. I was calling in to schedule my appointment for today?"

The receptionist recognised him within seconds, "Oh hey, Nakahara-kun. Yes, when would you like your appointment?"

"Hm, how about seven?"

"Seven, you say? Shall I schedule it with Dazai, as usual?"

Chuuya was way too happy to ignore the blush on his face, "Ah, yeah... It doesn't have to be him or anything, but-"
