Chapter 14 - The true test of character

As bhagi left , Mata Parvati and Shiva smiled a bitter smile.
" See rishivar, she really is good soul. I'm sure she'll pass through this. And prove that she is ardhnareshwar shishya"

"The result is still remaining mahadev. Don't be so confident now. Let's see how well she fares. And Whether she actually is able to pass the test . She may have mastered her anger but there are other ripus ", said shukracharaya.

"Lets go then ", Shiva smiled " and be ready to be amazed by my shishya ".

That being said all left towards the place bhagi went where she was meditating.

On Earth

Bhagi was devastated. It felt as if her heart has been ripped apart. She couldn't believe she couldn't pass . She didn't even get to give her guru's their gurudakshina. She was not a good student. She knew, she Knew she should have practiced more , she should have paid more attention. She should have done more.

She felt broken and lost, desperately searching for comfort and a way to make things right. Her heart longed for a chance to prove herself and regain the blessings of her beloved mentors . Right now her mind and heart were fighting with each other. She felt like dying. She wanted to meditate, No, She Needs to meditate.

She found a tree near the river bank and sat down and started meditating. She had tear stains on her cheeks and frown on her face. But soon her frown turned to a serene expression. Meditation always helped bhagi gather her thoughts.

She knew what she needed to do now. She needed to gain experience and learn from it. She needed to make her gurus proud . And once she knows she is capable and learned enough she'll go to kailash and ask for one more test, one last test. And then then finally she'll give her gurudev's their gurudakshina. Right now first step is to do tapasya to calm her mind.

Slowly she started chanting 'om namah shivay:'.

As she was immersed in her meditation. She heard a huge splash. She opened her eyes to make sure it was not somebody who needed her help.

As she opened her eyes she saw there was a young man who appeared to be of her age bathing in the river.

His upper body was uncovered. He was a man who had striking features and charismatic presence. His chiseled jawline accentuated his strong and noble character, while his piercing eyes sparkled. His well-groomed, flowing locks cascaded down to his broad shoulders, adding to his allure.

Bhagi admitted he was like a Gandharva but bhagi had much more important matters to handle. So she closed her eyes and started chanting.

"what happened priye? You don't like what you see?", said the man as he walked towards bhagi and smirked.

"come on , priye. Open your eyes . See your future husband is standing in front of you", said the man as he gestured towards his body.

Still bhagi didn't open her eyes. And continued chanting .

"Priye, leave this tapasya . Come with me. I have a huge kingdom . There is so much gold and diamonds. You won't ever have to lift a finger to do any work.", Said the man lovingly as he held a hand to his heart promising her.

The man moved his hand towards her and exclaimed "Come with me, you'll be samragi of whole aryavart . I'm going to win the whole world for you priye. Open your eyes , right now ! "

"really?. That's your strategy?? You really think my shishya will fall for this? That you'll offer her riches and she will stop her tapasya to go with this man with stupid curls!? ", said Shiva with a deadpan expression.
