Chapter 32. Itachi

Yuzuki tried relentlessly to get away from the man who held her captive, but it was to no avail. Every time she tried, she would end up in the same place- over Itachi's shoulder. Finally, after another attempt to get away, Itachi had had enough. He knocked her out by the pressure point on her neck and carried her on his back.

"Why are we taking this girl?" Kisame asked for the third time.

"She could be of value," he spoke, casting a genjutsu over himself as they entered a not-random village. This was where they had tracked Naruto, he was next. But Itachi did not plan to capture the boy.

Kisame stayed silent as they walked into a hotel, they were eyed suspiciously by passerby, but they kept their eyes in front of them, used to the stares. The man at the counter gave them the room key and they were on their way. Itachi released the genjutsu, returning to his usual appearance and placed Yuzuki in a chair, tying her hands to the arms and her ankles to the legs of the chair.

"Is that really necessary?" Kisame questioned as Itachi locked her in the bathroom, sealing it closed with a strong sealing jutsu.

"She's a highly advanced ninja, we must not underestimate her abilities," the Uchiha said flatly. Kisame nodded, remembering a time when he was training her. Wincing, he figured it was best to take precautions. They left the hotel room, leaving the Hatake locked in the bathroom, unaware that she was already awake and planning her escape.

Because she didn't have access to any of her weapons, she was forced to use her chakra to get her out of the ties binding her to the chair. As she built up chakra, she spoke to the demons inside her, convincing them to let her use their power. Or at least trying to.

"It's too risky, if you break the seals, you may never be able to re-seal them. And our chakra his too much for your body to handle." The tiger spoke wisely, trying to convince the Hatake that their was another way to get away from the Alatsuki members and keep Naruto safe. Knowing that there wasn't, and that there was no way she could defeat Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki without risking her own life in the process of protecting Naruto. But the risks of using their chakra were too high.

"Normally, I would go against anything Reikko says, but I would listen to her now. If you were to break the seals and use our chakra, there is a chance that you would not be able to re-seal them, and then an even bigger chance that we could be set free if the seals are broken."

"This is bigger than that, Naruto holds the nine-tails inside of him, if the Akatsuki gets their hands on him, there's no telling what they're going to do to him. Or what they're going to do with the power he holds," Yuzuki took a breath, "I don't care about the risks, it's worth keeping Naruto safe."
