Tonight was the last show of Newsies on Broadway. When I got to the theater I walked into the lobby and stopped. I couldn't help but think about the past few months. I've met and worked with the most amazing people, I got to do what I love and I've fulfilled one of my biggest dreams by being on Broadway.

I thought about how the longer I was Katherine, the more and more I became like her.

"Y/N?" I turned around and saw Jeremy walk into the lobby.

"Hey Jeremy," I smiled.

"What are you doing? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said with a small laugh. "I was just. . . Can you believe that tonight is the last show?" I asked looking at the poster of all of us on the wall.

"No, I can't," he smiled walking up next to me. We stood there in silence, looking at the show's poster.

It was the one with Jeremy and I, where he has me in his arms, my feet not touching the ground. The way he is looking at me in the picture makes me feel giddy. I remember when we took the picture and it brought a smile to my face. It wasn't actually a planned picture. The photographer took it while we were talking.

We had just barely started rehearsing and it was the first time I had ever put on my costume. I walked out to where they were taking pictures for the theater door and nervously played with my skirt.

"Wow, Y/N. You look amazing." I looked up to see Jeremy fixing his Newsies cap.

"Are you sure?" I asked looking back down at the skirt. "I mean. . . This is a lot of fabric. A lot! And I'm suppose to tap in this. I mean, it's so heavy! And I already stand out, not in the good way. I'm not as good as the other guys, and now that I'm wearing a skirt that literally weighs me down, I'm going to be even worse."

"Y/N." I gasped when he gently put his hands on my shoulders. "Breathe. You look great. You're gonna be great. You do stand out, but in the best way! You'll get use to the skirt, I know it. Soon it'll be like second skin." I gasped when he picked me up. I couldn't help but giggle as he held me in his arms. "See. You're not heavy."

I snapped out of the memory when I felt Jeremy reach over and intertwine our fingers. "I feel like I met everyone yesterday. And now I have to say goodbye," I said the last part softer, blinking away the tears that threatened to fall.

"The guys aren't going to let you just up and walk out of their lives. Even if you wanted to." I looked over at him to see him smiling at me.

"Promise?" I asked softly.

"Promise."

We turned our attention back to the poster. "I feel like just yesterday I walked into this theater for the first time."

"That would mean yesterday was the day I almost gave you a concussion," he laughed, lightening the mood.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot. I still can't believe you hit me with the door," I laughed softly.

"It's not my fault they don't put windows on the doors."

"You kicked the door open," I said with a soft laugh turning towards him and crossing my arms. "And you can't even say the your arms were full because they weren't," I said pointing my index finger at him.

"I said I was sorry. I even brought you coffee the next day," he said defending himself with a laugh.

"Yes you did," I smiled playfully pushing him. He laughed as he put his arm around my shoulders.

"So many memories," he said to himself.

"Memories that will last a life time." We couldn't help but laugh. "Man, we sound like we are straight out of a Hallmark movie or something," I laughed as I stepped out from under his arm and started walking towards the dressing rooms.
