"Okay it's time to look at our anonymous
class discussion bag and see what we have
this week" the teacher says.
Zach was leaning back in his seat while Alex
had her head resting on the palm of her
hand that was being held up by her elbow
Which was firmly pressed against the table.

Justin had been making small talk throughout the lesson, but half the time he just had his pin in his mouth as the chewed the bottom of it again, which was something that he was often caught doing

Alex was basically leaning on zachs shoulder
as she tried to keep herself awake. The teacher was reading out notes that the class had left for her to read out, and at this point in the lesson there was barely anyone who actually cared

"Mrs Bradley has nice ankles" Mrs Bradley
says as she reads out the sheet of paper that
she had just pulled out of the brown paper
bag

The class began to laugh at the note but Alex couldn't even bother to turn the corners of her mouth up.

She was already basically asleep to even notice what the teacher had read. "Well I'm not sure that it is appropriate to
objectify anyone in this way and certainly
not a teacher. But uh um so far since this was
meant as a compliment. Thank you" Mrs
Bradley says with a smile then puts the note
back in the bag and gets ready to grab
another piece of paper, pretending that she didn't like the compliment

"They are really nice ankles mrs B" Terry, a
rugby player says which causes the class to
laugh again. Alex finally managed to at least look up and over at Terry

"Moving on" Mrs Bradley says with a smile, hoping to change the subject as soon as possible.

Zach began to play with the strands of Alex's hair that had fallen out of her high pony tail "what if the only way not to feel bad is to stop feeling anything at all forever"

Alex was now finally fully awake and paying attention to what the teacher had said. Her eyes open at the teachers words in worry. She didn't know who had written the letter, however she instanth felt had for them and
Had a strong desire to help them.

Not only was she a highly empathetic person, She could relate to them, even though there were many people in the school that thought Alex had the perfect life, she didn't.

There were times when she felt like it would all just be easier for her and everyone else if she were to end it. To stop all of the pain and hurt that she went through every day and stop her from being a burden on all of her friend.

But then she remembered all of the good things that she had in life like her friends, he friends who had always been there for her and assured her that she was nothing close to being a burden.

Alex wanted to remind whoever wrote that letter that there are good things in the world and if they couldn't think of anyone that cared for them then she would be that person. There were things in this world that are worth living for

"Wow okay umm" Mrs Bradley says quietly, not expecting something like this to be found in the compliment bag, "this is serious. This is someone who is in a great deal of pain. Who would like to open our discussion? Any initial feelings?'

"I think that whoever wrote this is just
looking for attention" Courtney states with a roll of her eyes, trying to avoid making eye contact with Hannah, who she was practically certain that the note was written by.

"Shut up Courtney. Not everyone is like you
and wants to read the 'How to be a desperate
birch handbook' how about you take that stick out of your asshole and have some god damn sympathy for once," Alex says as she was
confident that whoever had wrote the note
needed help and the words that were leaving
Courtney's mouth were only making the
situation worse.
