Word has gotten out about what Tyler had said at his hearing and now Bryce Walker was pissed. "Come on Bryce just forget about it okay. Just leave him alone you're only going to get yourself in trouble and it is just going to make you look bad" Alex quickly tries to reason with the boy as they spot Tyler at the end of the hall. He completely ignored the girl and storms down the hallway towards him.
"Ah shit," the girl mutters, a worried look residing on her face. She quickly goes to chase after him and their friends follow behind her hoping that her words would change the boys mind about confronting Tyler. The last thing they needed right now was more attention, so Bryce was only making the situation worse
"No Alex. He should have had my back. I always have his" Bryce says to her but knows he can't get mad at her or he would have to deal with both Montgomery and Scott and even though he wouldn't admit it out loud he knew that that would be a fight he wouldn't be able to win.
Not to mention, Zach Dempsey was walking around the halls somewhere, and it wouldn't take long for him to join in too
Bryce spots Tyler at his open locker looking at stuff and getting books for his next class so he speeds up his pace and walks up to him then slams the locker door shut in his face which makes Tyler jump in shock. Tyler freezes for a second then quickly turn to face them with a slight hint of fear clouding his eyes
"What the hell" Tyler says angrily and looks at Bryce who was glaring at him while the others stayed behind him while also glaring at him.
Scott and Montgomery watched as Alex nervously began to play with her fingers so Montgomery grabbed one of her hands in his own and began to rub circles on her hand with his thumb to try and soothe her and calm the girls nerves but he still glared at Tyler from over bryces shoulder while Scott leaned up against the lockers and kept checking over on Alex to make sure that the girl was okay
"I never laid a fucking hand on you. I saw other guys fucking with you and I told them to fuck off" Bryce says angrily while getting up in Tyler's face. The boy was fuming as he asks "so why are you talking about me in court?"
Tyler looks shocked at bryces last sentence and confusion was written all over his face as well as fear "Jesus how did you know that already? Did clay tell you?"
"Never mind about that just tell me why you talked" Bryce says and gets closer to Tyler who steps back away from him not wanting to be close to the boy who was notorious for many things
"Because your little dark room threat didn't scare me" Tyler says with new found confidence and it was now his turn to get up in bryces face
Bryce looks at Montgomery in general confusion and Montgomery just shrugs his shoulders while gripping Alex's hand a little tighter which made her lean into him slightly as if it were an instinct as he usually squeezed her hand tighter if something was wrong.
She looked at him in confusion but didn't say anything to the boy and just began to study his face and take in all of the small and perfect details of his face that she admired
"YOU CAN FUCK WITH ME ALL YOU WANT. I don't care. You'll pay" Tyler says angrily
Alex just looks down at the ground in shock while bryce has a straight face, Montgomery smirked widely and Scott just tried to keep a straight face but when Alex looked at him she could tell he was concerned.
The jocks stare at the photographer But nobody says anything else
"Mr Walker?" They all hear and turn to see
Mr porter coming toward them. Alex looks at Bryce, instantly noticing his body stiffen as the man approached them.
Scott looked at Alex in worry before they all walked away from Tyler so that they wouldn't have to talk to porter. The group was silent, Scott and Alex shared concerned looks with each other while Montgomery tugged her along
"So now he wants to care" Alex scoffs under her breath as she looks back over her shoulder at porter who was talking to Tyler
Alex smiles as she notices Jessica making her way over to them and she was happy that her friend was back. She had really missed the girl while she was gone and after Justin left she was feeling broken but luckily she still had her few friends and her boyfriend who were still here and hadn't abandoned her yet.
Scott would be leaving to graduate before them and she feared it wouldn't take long for the others to leave her just like everyone else
"Jess hey" Alex grins and calls out to her. Jessica gives her a smile as she notices her and she begins to jog over to Alex "Hey Lex. Still captain of the cheer team I see" Jessica says with a proud smile as she looks at her friend
"Yeah but I think Chloe thinks she's in charge sometimes. But she's really sweet" Alex grins and hugs Jess and then allows Jess to hug the others who all greeted her enthusiastically
"Jess hey" Chloe says and smiles at Jess
Jess smiles at Chloe softly even though she didn't really like the girl "hey Chloe"
"You're back. And just in time too. We are starting our routining for the summer competitions" Chloe says and Alex steps forward
"You pick up in everything and I'll go over it with you again later this afternoon if you want or later in the week" Alex says with a smile "plus I think I want you to try something new and be the flyer. Your a new woman now right" she says with a wink
"Wait what I thought I was a flyer" Ginny says and Alex gives her a small smile "Gin I told you that it was just until Jess got back. Besides your amazing at stunting and we need that. I think Jess is ready for it but it will take time and a lot of hard work. So do you think your ready Jess?"
"Yeah totally" Jessica says to her friend with a smile which Alex returns
"Alright now let's start marking it out ladies, you are gonna do great. Jess maybe just watch the first few times to just learn it but I know you'll pick it up pretty fast" Alex says with a smile and places a comforting hand on the girls shoulder
"Okay cool thanks Lex" Jess says with a smile and Alex runs off toward the rest of the squad and she begins to start the routine while the boys got distracted in the game as Scott, Monty and Zach all look at Alex in awe while Bryce Walker eyes down Jessica and his own girlfriend
