When we entered the palace the Commander rushed to my side.
"General we have been looking all over for you"
"What is wrong?"
"His Majesty has summoned you"he said looking over to her highness whose head was covered.
I handed over her uniform while she remained quiet.
"let's go" I nudged abruptly to dismiss his curious thoughts.

His Majesty was already in his chamber by the time we arrived.
"Your Majesty the General has arrived"head eunuch(male servant)informed in a low tone.
"let him in"
"Your Majesty i apologize for being late"
"The General has a good reason for being late"the Commander cut in with amusement evident in his voice.
"What happened to him?"the his Majesty asked referring to my attire.
"The General finally has a woman, he boldly brought her to the palace"
I threatened him with my eyes not to continue.
"Really?who could've changed the General's mind"
"It is a misunderstanding" I tried to explain.
"And the feminine feather on your waist band?" his Majesty probed.
"This is nothing" I got a hold of it thrusting it in my robe.
"Oh don't be like that, she looked pretty decent, this hyungnim will take care of everything"
"Commander you seem tired, you should go and rest"
He smiled, his eyes narrowing in mischief.
"We will meet tomorrow then" he yielded walking out.
"Your majesty has asked for me?"
"Yes, it was reported that there are bandits harassing visitors and merchants around the northern border"
"Yes, I plan on leaving early tomorrow"
"Please do so"

I came to say my farewell to my aunt in her chamber because I don't really know when i will be coming back.
"It is not going to be easy, do you have a strategy?"
"I would have to find out what kind of bandits they are and what they want first"
"Do you plan on taking her with you?"
"Her?"
"Do you think you can hide anything from me?" She said smiling.
"It is really nothing"
"Anyway you should introduce her when you get back"
"Eat well and take care of yourself"
"I will your Majesty"
