Chapter forty eight

His highness doesn't seem to know much about being 'discreet', so i was now chasing him from over the walls while they kept running along the lanes.
It was getting exhausting to follow the person's path so i joined them instead.
A rider at his full speed rode pass me.
"Make way" he shouted, but Bori has already frozen in her spot, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

"Watch out" i shouted running to her but within a split second his highness swirled her around and they fell on his back with a heavy thud.
I didn't notice rain clouds have already gathered and it started drizzling.
'I don't think they intend to move from there' so i cleared my throat lightly to bring them back to reality.
She sprang up dusting her skirt.
"Are you okay" she asked helping him up.

"Yes"

"Why did you do that? what if something happens to your royal body"

"Shhh" he gestured.

"For a person like me your high.."
He quickly extended his hand to close her mouth.

"Let me see" i said analyzing  his arms and back.

"Ahhh"

"It looks bad"

"No, it is because you are pressing it too hard"

"The rain is getting heavier let's go to an inn" i said.
'We have lost that person and what if he wasn't sent by his Majesty?
Even though i told him it was okay to have someone watch over me, i hardly think he guessed my leave today'

Prince Chin mae's POV.

I sat in a single room with Bori at an inn.

"Where did he go?"

"I don't know but i think he went to get fresh clothes"
'I don't know why she believes that hat can help in anyway'

"I should go and check for him"

"The rain hasn't seized yet, let's wait for him"

"I will wait outside" i said sliding the door.
It didn't take long for her to make a turn.

"Chae min" i called.
And she lifted her head up.
She was dripping and her clothes were sticking firmly to her.
Looking away, i quickly removed my damp upper garment and wrapped it around her.
'What was she thinking'
'What if someone has seen her?'

"What were you thinking?"

"I needed to buy clothes before you catch a cold"

"Why would you do something like this for a stranger"
"Bori" i said calling her out.

"Go in and change first" i said pushing her in.
'I just hope her hair isn't wet too'
She came out almost immediately.
"Bori you are next"
And by the time she came out the rain had seized.
"Follow me" i told her highness.
"You should wipe your hat it is still wet"

"You didn't call me in to say that, did you?"

"No" i said extending my arms to the side.
She gave me a long look.
"My arms are getting tired"

"Use them while you still have them" she threatened.

"I have never"

"Is it possible, it is not like you are royalty"

"Maybe i am, in my home"

"Says...whose..wife" she mumbled.

"Are you saying something?"

"I said Alright"

She helped me with the upper garment, waist band and the second layer.

"Did you change your second layer" i asked looking away.
