Consort Ji ae's POV.

"It is a relief you came back safely" she said while we had tea.
"But doesn't it show that sister is slacking off already?"
"Sister should know they can replace you if you continue like this"
'Just like how i was going to be replaced by you'
"And now what do you plan to do about Yeon woo?"

"Nothing"
"I plan to have mine"

"It will be too late when she gives birth to a boy"
"By then wouldn't it be over for you?"
"If i knew sister was this slow i would have done it my way"

"What ever happens to me it is not for sister to worry"

"I think you misunderstand where i am coming from"
Looking into her eyes thoughts of realisation crossed my mind, i knew from the start what she was greedy for and seeing how she didn't get to marry the king...

"I will find a way, you should leave him alone"

"It is a warning" i said with a smile.

Yoo hwa's POV.
We moved our camp to Shilla's border and we were now surrounded by enemies.
Our soldiers keep retreating back to the gates  so they will soon have entrance to Shilla.
Today is the day of my departure.
"Ga yoon" i called my personal maid.
"It is time to leave"
"Don't worry about me and do as you are told"

"Yes, your highness"

I went to see his Majesty in my uniform.

"My lady should make sure you don't walk too far"

"I will do that"
"Did the plan work?"

"Yes Shilla's king sent some men to the enemies camp at both the Northern and Southern gates, our spies have reported most of them have taken ill"
"He will soon loose more than half of his men"

"What do you think their General will do about it?"

"We are waiting to see but one thing is for sure, he doesn't have the antidote"

"The war will be over soon"
"Your Majesty should stay healthy" i said with a deep bow.

"Have a safe journey, till we meet again my lady"
"I am actually holding myself back from stopping your leave"

"Does that mean i can stay?" I asked excited.

"No you should go"

"Alright i will be going"
"I am really going" i repeated at the entrance of the tent but he just smiled.
'Goodbye then'i thought to myself.

The General's POV.
After Shilla's King plan worked they became very aggressive because they knew they are loosing out and the war is over.
They have managed to make us retreat to the closed gates of Shilla.
They stood in line in front of gate acting brave, despite how obvious it was they were too weak to fight.
A messenger carrying a white flag of truce rode to the entrance while we stood at the top.
"A message from the honourable General of Liodang"
He unfolded a golden scroll.
"The honourable General with all due respect humbly requests for the antidote and he wishes to inform the king of Goguryeo that his favoured possession, a certain someone on her way back to the palace happens to be in his company, so he wants to inform Shilla that she will be pleased to join the intake of the hospitable herb in thirty minutes"
I clenched my fist.
"General what is going on" Shilla's King asked.

"I suggest we sit down"

"Should i send for the king?"

"The Northen border is far, he can't get here in thirty minutes so there will be no need"

The Enemy's General POV.
One of my men hesitantly came into my tent.
"Honourable General" he said with a bow.

"I did a little thinking, i might have made a dreadful mistake"
"I now remember she has dark grey eyes"
"Please forgive me" he said kneeling.

"What?"i said lifting the table in front of me and unsheathing my sword.
"Are you telling me this after i have sent the messenger?"

"Please spare me" he pleaded when he felt the coldness of my sword.
'I knew she wasn't as beautiful as he described at first, that i even had to conclude it was an exaggeration'
"Please give me another chance, this time i won't fail you"

"I have never given anyone a second chance" i said striking him.
"Take him out of my sight" i roared and they dragged his lifeless body out.
I went straight to the girl's tent to find her trembling in a corner.
