22. You go stargazing

previous one :)

Katsuki told me to wait outside of his house for a moment, I wanted to come along just to say hi to Masaru and Mitsuki. But he said if I went it would take longer since he thought Mitsuki would not let me go. Reluctantly, I stayed outside. I leaned by the wall, waiting for Katsuki to bring whatever he needed. Once he finally did, he had 2 blankets and a book bag with him.

"Are we running away or something?" I retorted
"Tsk" he threw one of the blankets at me, "Lets go"
"Hmph"

I wrapped the blanket around me and grabbed Katsuki's hand. We started walking again, to who knows where. I tried to think of all of the possible places we could go late at night with two blankets and a book bag, but nothing was coming to mind.

"What do you have in there?" I asked as I directed my gaze at the book bag to let him know what I was referring to
"You'll see" he answered
I groaned, "Are you gonna kill me, wrap my body in the blankets, and leave my body by a stream so authorities can find me later on"
"What the fuck are you talking out?" He furrowed his eyebrows as he turned to look at me, "We're almost there anyway"
"To my murder place?" I joked
"Quit talking about murder!!"
I chuckled as a few people turned to look at us, "You always say 'die' before fighting someone, even if it's part of class" I tried to mimic his voice when I said 'die'
"Tsk" He pouted, but still held on to my hand

After turning on a few streets, I realized we were going to a park. That's when I started to connect the dots!

"Isn't it a little too late to have a picnic? Not that i'm complaining! I love it!"
He softly smiled, "Not just that"

I tilted my head to the side in confusion,

"Like I said before, witch" He paused "You'll see!"
"Can we go to the slides first?" I asked in excitement, "These are more bigger than the ones by my house"
"Do as you please, I'll be waiting here" He stopped at a bench and put all of the stuff down, including the blanket that was wrapped around me

I let out a huff and let go of his hand to get to the top of the tube slide. I climbed all the way up, until I was out of Katsuki's sight. Hmm, I wonder if Katsuki would come up to check on me if I didn't come down the tube slide... So I stayed put and waited for him to realize.

"Oi, witch"

I heard him shout, making me quietly giggle.

"Stop fucking playing and get down here"

Still, I stayed quiet. Suddenly, I heard running footsteps coming my way and in an instant Katsuki was in front of me.

I chuckled, "You came!"
"I thought you were actually in trouble, witch!! You scared the shit out of me!" He yelled, but I knew he wasn't actually mad mad
"Now that you're here, we can go down the slides together!" I exclaimed "There's two come on! Lets see who gets down faster!"
"Tsk, no"
I grinned and fake sighed, "I guess... I would've beat you anyway..."
"Huh?!"

I pushed myself down the slide, the last thing I saw was Katsuki also throwing himself down the other slide. Not to my surprise, I was the first one get down.

"Gah!! You had a damn head start, witch! Again!" He challenged me, which is what I wanted
"You bet!!"

With my quirk, I jumped to get to the top of the slides leaving a trail of pink mist. With his explosion, he propelled himself up and in a matter of seconds we were going down the slides again. I was, once again, the first to come down.

"Again!!"
I chuckled, "Maybe later, lets go to the swings!" I took his hand and dragged him, "Hey, Katsuki..."
"Hm?"
"Lets see who can swing the highest"
He growled, "Ill beat you in this!"

After much competition, we took a break and sat down on the bench. While I was catching my breath, Katsuki got up and told me to follow him. Even though I was tired, I still did as he said and followed him to an empty open field. He set the blanket into the ground, we both sat down and finally he was opening his book bag.

"I made you bento, so you better eat it all!" He handed me the bento
My eyes sparkled, "How romantic of you, Katsuki"
"Tsk, eat! I know you're hungry"

Well, it was true. I almost didn't realize we skipped lunch since Katsuki and I were too busy organizing my room. We were both eating but he had finished first, he laid down and put his hands behind head and closed his eyes.

"When you're done, join me" He said with his eyes still closed. Even though he couldn't see me, I nodded my head.

Once I was done, I laid down next to Katsuki. When he felt my presence next to him, he opened his eyes and turned to look at me.

"Tsk, I'm surprised you haven't realized why we're here" He said in a calming manner
I furrowed my eyebrows, "There was more?"
"Look up at the sky, princess"

I turned my gaze from Katsuki to the sky.

"Whoa..."

The brightly lit stars and moon were shinning in the night sky, the clouds were dancing around the figures making it look more breath taking. It was almost like it was making a show for us tonight.

"So pretty..." I trailed off, "I can't believe I've never noticed it"
"I figured"

I snuggled closer to Katsuki and placed my head on his chest, he didn't hesitate to wrap his arm around me. He draped the other blanket around us to keep us warm and not once did I take my eyes off the starry sky.

"Tsuki ga kirei desu ne" I said in a soft voice,

Although, I couldn't see him, I felt Katsuki smiling. I also felt his heart beat raising after I said that. His grip tightened around me, which brought me closer to him. He placed a kiss on top of my head as we continued to look at the mesmerizing sky.

for those who don't know || Tsuki ga kirei desu ne || means, "the moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" which can also translate to "I love you" ((correct me if i'm wrong tho))
