Peyton POV:
It's the day after the Georgetown game and Paige got cleared to practice again so she's at practice right now.
I'm currently in her dorm working on some school work at her kitchen counter waiting for her to come back. I also had a few meetings with NIL deals that will hopefully be announced soon.
A couple hours later Paige, Nika, and Christyn got back from practice.
"Hey, how was practice" I asked
"It was good" Paige says as she walks over to me and gives me a quick kiss
"There was a lot of running" Nika replies and I laugh at her as Paige puts her arm around my back standing next to me in the chair.
"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad" Christyn chimes in
"Coming from you, you hardly had to run" Nika says
"Wait why did you have to run but Christyn didn't" I ask
"Because apparently I kept fouling on defense even though I wasn't, and each time I fouled I had to run"
Paige starts laughing at Nika complaining because her Croatian accent is really coming out right now.
"Hey, so I was thinking, are we doing anything for Thanksgiving because it's only a few weeks away and I know we can't go home because of practices and games" I say
"I'm not sure" Christyn says
"We will probably have a team dinner/friendsgiving" Nika says
"Yea, maybe you can bring the softball team and we can have a basketball and softball friendsgiving since we can't go home" Paige said
"That's fine by me but not all of them know we are dating so should I tell them or would we act like just friends during the dinner" I ask Paige
"I mean I would just tell them, that way it's easier. Plus when I come to cheer you on during your games they don't find it crazy that I'm screaming your name"
"Are you really gonna scream my name"
"Are you kidding. Of course I am. Plus don't act like you don't scream my name. I hear you every game" Paige says as she smirks at me
"Yea me too" Nika says "It's kinda scary. Especially if the other team knocks Paige down, I'm like Peyton is about to kill someone" she says laughing
"Oh shut up, I'm sorry I'm supportive and protective"
"I have an idea" Paige randomly says
"And what would that idea be" I say
"For every away game you can't make it to, when I get fouled and shoot free throws I can wink so you know I'm okay, because the camera will be on me while I shoot the free throws"
"Won't people question why you're winking though" Christyn adds
"Yea probably the first few times I do it, but then they will probably think I added it to my free throw routine"
"I think it's cute" I say leaning in to kiss her which she quickly accepts.
"Stop being so cute" Nika whines
