*time skip to Christmas Eve when Peyton's siblings arrive*
Paige POV:
I'm super nervous, Peyton's siblings will be here any minute and I wanna make a good first impression for them. Since Peyton's parents kicked her out, that means her brother and sister's opinions about me matter, it's like meeting the parents for the first time but instead of the parents in this situation it's her siblings.
Peyton and I are sitting on the couch watching The Outerbanks when her phone starts ringing.
"Hello" she says as she answers the phone
There's someone talking on the other line but I can't hear what they are saying
"Ok, we'll be out in a second, bye" Peyton says as she hangs up
"They're here" Peyton says as she stands up from the couch, with me doing the same as we make our way to the front door.
Before she opens the front door to go outside she turns to me and holds both my hands
"Relax, they're not scary, and they will love you, there's no reason to be nervous" she says softly
"Yea but what if they don't like me" I say
"They will" she replies
"But what if they don't"
"Then I will still be with you, I lived without my family before, and I'll do it again if it means having you in my life, you are the only person in my life that has shown me what it means to be loved and cared about, and I wouldn't throw that away because of my family's opinion"
"I love you" I say
"And I love you more" she says before giving me a quick kiss before opening the door to go outside.
I follow behind her to the driveway where I see a guy about my height with brown hair and a girl with blonde hair a little taller than Peyton.
Peyton instantly pulls them into a hug and they say stuff along the lines of "I'm happy to see you" and "I'm glad we could make it"
Peyton then says "I want you guys to meet somebody" as she turns around to look at me and motions for me to come closer "This is Paige, my girlfriend" she continues
"It's nice to meet you, I'm jack" the brown haired guy says putting out his hand for a handshake
"It's nice to meet you too" I say shaking his hand
"Hey, I'm elle! Peyton's favorite twin sister" The blonde girl says
"You're my only twin and only sister" Peyton says laughing
"Yea, exactly my point" Elle says
"It's nice to meet you too" I say chuckling
We help them bring their bags in and they meet my dad and Drew. By now it's almost 9 PM and I can tell Drew is getting tired so we put on the movie "A Christmas Story" and just enjoy each other's company eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate.
After the movie ends my dad gets up and grabs some boxes that are wrapped in wrapping paper.
"So in our family we have a tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve, and it's matching pajamas that everyone wears" My dad explains
"Wait really? We used to do the same thing" Peyton says
"Wait seriously" I say looking at her
"Yea, and this one" she says pointing to Jack "always complained" she says laughing
"It's because the ones mom got didn't keep me warm" he defends
"Yea sure, whatever you say" Peyton says
My dad laughs at their interaction and starts handing out a box to everyone and we open them at the same time
"Woah, I really like these" Elle says
The top are white with a red trim, with dogs playing in the snow all around them
"Yea me too, and look Jack, the pants are soft" Peyton says since the pants are just red and black plaid
"Paigey, Paigey! Look at the dogs!" Drew says excitedly running up to me and pointing at the dogs on his shirt
"Woah, those are big dogs" I say as Drew excitedly takes off the shirt he was currently wearing and puts on the pajama shirt
"Looking sharp bud" Peyton says to him
We all go change into our matching pajamas and then decide to head to bed since it's getting late and when we wake up it will be Christmas.
