Paige POV:
It's been a couple days since Kaileb and I had the shooting contest and he posted the video yesterday. Right now me, Peyton, Nika, and Aliyah are on our way to Chipotle for some lunch.
Peyton and I are holding hands as we walk to Chipotle with Nika and Aliyah behind us.
"I have a media day for softball soon" Peyton says as we walk
"Oh that's cool are you gonna wear your uniform" I ask
"Yea we are taking photos and everything"
"What number are you"
"Number 8"
"What made you pick 8" I ask
"I don't know, it's just the number I've worn since I first started playing as a kid so I've just stuck with it" she says
"Hey P, check your phone" Nika says interrupting our conversation.
"Why" I say looking back at her
"Because there's an article you might wanna see" she says
I take my phone out of my pocket still holding Peyton's hand and go onto twitter to see it blowing up.
"What's happening" Peyton asks
"I don't know" I say as I continue to scroll until I find an article with the title Two NCAA Division 1 UConn Superstars Are Dating?
"I think I found it" I say showing Peyton my phone for her to read the title
"Hm, I wonder who it is" Peyton says laughing as we continue walking to Chipotle.
Once we order and get our food we sit down at a table. Peyton and I are sitting next to each other and Nika and Aliyah are sitting next to each other on the other side.
"Peyton when does your season start" Aliyah asks
"We have been just doing gym workouts for a few weeks but next week we start practicing inside and then our preseason starts in January" she says
"Wow that's really early" Nika says
"Yea, the worst part is when it snows though because then we are inside instead of on the field" Peyton says
"Well when you have your first game no need to worry because we will be there cheering you on" Aliyah says
"Thanks guys" Peyton says chuckling
"Are you nervous since it's your first college season" I ask
"I mean yea, but all the girls are really nice so it's a lot of fun. But I'm definitely gonna be nervous for the games" she answers
"We'll be your good luck charms don't worry" Nika says
"Oh yea we are, I will be at every game I can" I tell her.
"Well after all the games I've gone to watch you play I would hope so" she jokes looking at me.
Once we are done eating a few people come up to us and ask for a picture and we all happily agree and take the photos.
As we are on our way out the door of Chipotle I check the time on my phone and realize we got 30 minutes until practice. We decide to take a bus back to our dorms instead of walking so we will be on time.
"I should be back in a few hours" I tell Peyton as I hug her goodbye.
"I'll be here don't worry" she says kissing me.
"Hey do you guys wanna go to dinner after practice?" Christyn asks
"Who else is going" Peyton asks
"I'm not sure I was gonna ask everyone at practice and see who's up for it" Christyn says
"I mean I'll go" Peyton says as she looks at me
"Yea I'm down" I say
"Can I invite Kate and Tori" Peyton asks Christyn
"Why not, the more the merrier" she answers "but come on Paige we are gonna be late"
"Ok, I'll see you soon" I say leaning in and kissing Peyton, something I will never get tired of.
"I love you" she says
"I love you too" I respond before heading out the door.

Me, Christyn, and Nika are all walking to our room after practice and I'm exhausted. We did so much today. I just want to sleep.
"Be ready to go in like 30-40 minutes for dinner" Christyn says as she opens the door to the room.
I instantly make my way to my room and when I walk in drop my bag. "Hey how was prac-" Peyton says as she walks over to me but before she can finish I dig my face in her neck and wrap my arms around her.
"I'm so tired" I say as she wraps her hands around me and we sway back and forth.
"What happened at practice" she softly asks
"We ran so much and coach was constantly telling me I was doing something wrong and I just kept getting so frustrated" I say
"Hey it's okay, you just had a bad day" she says comfortably rubbing my back. "Do you still wanna go to dinner"
"Yea, I'm starving" I say chuckling
She starts laughing too "What time did Christyn say we had to be there"
"I don't know, she said 30-40 minutes like 10 minutes ago" I say
"Well how about we get ready and then we go enjoy good food then come back and sleep"
"That sounds so nice" I say picking my head up from her shoulder and softly kissing her.
We kiss softly, nothing heated, just a slow caring kiss to show how much we love each other.
"We should probably get ready before Christyn comes in here and sees we haven't done anything" Peyton says breaking apart from the kiss
"One more kiss" I say giving her a cheeky green
"You are crazy" she says smiling before giving me another kiss
