Paige POV:
It's the day after the South Carolina game and I just woke up in Peyton's dorm. Today we are doing the friendsgiving with my team and her softball team. I'm excited to meet everyone on her team they all seem like nice people.
I reach out and grab my phone off the end table and see a lot of texts from geno and my manager. Confused as to why they both texted me so many times this early is making me nervous so I open the texts and see they want to meet with me and Peyton at the facility. I text them back "what time" and my manager responds "in an hour" I then ask "ok. is everything ok?" but geno just responds "we'll explain when you get here"
I turn off my phone and shake Peyton awake.
"what" she says tiredly stretching
"we gotta go to the basketball facility geno and my manager need to talk to us" i say getting out of bed
"what is everything ok" she says getting up
"i'm not sure" i say quickly kissing her "but we will find out"
I head into the bathroom and get ready while Peyton changes in the room
"Paige" I hear as Peyton opens the door as I comb my hair
"yea"
"my manager is there too, she just texted me, this can't be good"
"it's ok, we'll figure it out" i say wrapping her in a hug.

we make it to the facility and go up to Geno's office and knock on the door.
"Come in" he says
As I open the the door Peyton and I look at each other and I just give her a comforting smile before we walk in.
As we walk in I see Geno sitting at his desk and my manager and Peyton's manager both standing to the side of his desk.
"You guys can sit down" my manager Kesley says motioning to the chairs in front of Geno's desk.
"Ok what's going on" I say as I sit down
"Yesterday during the game remember Peyton came down from the student section and over to you" Geno says
"Yea she was helping me"
"Yea and she brought you to the locker room"
"And stopped me from having a panic attack" I add
"Yes, and then she sat on the bench"
"Yea because you told her to. What does this have to do with anything"
"There are rumors going around that you two are dating" my manager says
"because Nika specifically got Peyton from the student section to help you, and she went in the locker room with you, stayed on the bench with you, and you guys hugged after the game" Peyton's manager Emma says.
"Ok so what, a rumor is a rumor, they don't have any proof" Peyton says looking over at her manager
"We know, but we want you guys to decide what you want to do and we can help you with it" my manager says
"What do you mean we decide what we want to do" I say
"Do you guys wanna ignore the rumor or do you wanna announce you are dating" my manager says
Peyton and I look at each other not knowing what to say.
"When do we have to decide by" I ask
"Tomorrow" they say
"What happens though, like if we decide to ignore the rumor, or if we do go public" Peyton asks
"If you ignore the rumors you guys will still have a private relationship but everything you do will be watched because people want any evidence of you guys dating, and if you go public it will be all over the internet and people will still be watching you, but you will be able to actually act like a couple in public" Emma says
"Look, go home and think about it for a little and then you guys have that Friendsgiving thing right" Geno asks
"Yea" I say
"Ok, then go enjoy the friendsgiving and unwind a little, you guys don't deserve all this stress" he adds
"Thanks coach" I say
"Now get out of here"

Peyton POV:
We are back in Paige's dorm getting ready for the Friendsgiving.
"What do you wanna do" I ask her
"What do you mean" she says setting the table
"About the rumor"
she lets out a sigh and says "I don't know, I don't know why everyone needs to know our business, like we didn't sign up to become famous and now everyone watches our every move"
"Yea it's like no matter what we do people will be watching us" I say
"Yea, I know but we are regular people. We should be able to live our lives without a camera in our face every second" she says frustrated.
"Oooo it looks good in here" Nika says walking in as Paige and I just look at her.
"I just walked in on something didn't I" Nika says
"No you're fine" Paige says placing the extra paper plates on the table and walking to her room and closing the door.
"What's up with her" Nika asks
"There's a rumor going around about us dating and we either have to ignore the rumor or go public and she's frustrated why everyone needs to know our business"
"And how do you feel"
"I feel the same way. It's our life. Not theirs we shouldn't have to do anything, but with the life we live in we always have cameras on us" I tell her.
