so this is basically wanda's reaction to nat's death
super angsty so enjoy!!!!!
Clint couldn't do this.
It hurt too much.
Tears slid down his face, marking lines in his dirt covered face.
"Wanda." Clint starts.
Wanda turns around and hugs him.
"You're okay. I was afraid after... after Tony died that you had-" Wanda cuts herself off. "Where's Natasha? Is she okay?"
Clint broke the hug, and shuffled his feet.
"Clint. Where is Nat?" Wanda's voice quavers and Clint feels his heart breaking.
"She's gone. She's... she died." Clint finally answers.
He looks up to see pain and hurt and suffering in her normally calm eyes.
Wanda drops to her knees, tears streaming down her face.
"Wanda, I'm so sorry-"
"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER!" Wanda screams. "YOU SAID YOU WOULD PROTECT HER!" A sob tears out of Wanda's chest and Clint falls to the ground.
"You said you would protect her."
Clint wraps his arms around Wanda and rubs her shoulders.
Wanda leans into him as Clint does his best to comfort her, knowing she's been through the worst loss in her life.
