Eleanor's bedroom

I looked up from my piles of books and open notes due to the big amount of stress I was having and stared out of my window. We are having a lot of tests coming up since the year is almost ending.

Currently, it was around midnight, and I couldn't sleep. As childish as this may sound, it was because I had a nightmare. It's just... with my mom going undercover all the time, I worry that maybe one day... she won't make it back.

I constantly get nightmares about this. I debated on calling Kathrin. She always made me feel better afterwards. But I didn't want to wake her up, therefore I decided to just study. Give myself a distraction from the horrible dream.

Looking out of the window gave me a perfect view of the night sky. It was a full moon tonight. In fact, it was a strawberry moon. It had a pink-ish glow, making the area shine slightly. I could see some clouds that surrounded it, though none of the stars could be seen due to all the street lights these days.

The view was honestly breathtaking, though it would have been even more beautiful with the additional stars. I walked over to my window, opening it to get some fresh air. I stared up at the moon, which was in my favorite color, and took a deep breath. My eyes fluttered close as the spring breeze hit my face.

"Hey!"

The sudden sound startled me, leading to me flinching from fright, eyes widening. "What the hell?" I yelped. Soon enough, I became less tense, taking sight of the even more breathtaking view. "Kathrin? What are you doing here?"

The brunette girl with some pink hair climbed into my room. She was wearing some black overalls, though were short due to the heat, since it was almost summer. Inside those overalls was a shoulder-less black shirt. She also wore black sleeve warmers, which covered half of her forearm, and most of her hands, only leaving out the fingers.
