That same night, Aria and Ohm stood by a shop near the Ministry building. She was looking left and right and then back to her cellphone, as if she was waiting for someone.

She was, indeed.

"The conference is about to start. Where are these friends you're talking about?" Ohm asked, a little impatient as he shifted his weight on a different foot.

It was only the two of them. The adults and Wave were left at the building. Their plan was easy. But Aria insisted on coming with Ohm despite Wave and him disagreeing. But her friend needed a backup, and they all knew that. So in the end, she went with him. Albeit, the Director might have done something to prevent them from entering and making a fuss. Hence, Aria called for help.

A hot red car stopped in front of them and Aria stood straight, knowing who was in that car.

Three doors opened, revealing Ten in the driver's seat and Lily and Uno in the backseat. They got out of the car and the girls went straight to Aria and hugged her.

They let out squeals of excitement. After not seeing their friend personally for weeks, they finally got to hug her.

"Ugh, I miss you so much!"

"Aria, please come back to us. Lily's been torturing me!"

Aria only laughed as a response before breaking the hug.

But Ohm was left there standing, confused. Aria noticed it and stepped back to level him.

"By the way, this is Ohm. My friend from Ritdha High School. And Ohm, that's Ten, Lily, and Uno."

"Nice to meet you," the four said in unison.

"Here." Uno handed Aria a paper bag with his other hand in his pocket.

She took it and looked inside. It was Lily and his uniform with two pairs of glasses. That was their simple disguise: students from a different school.

"Thank you, guys, really."

"I don't accept just thank you, Aria. Pay me with a beach getaway!" Uno whined like a young kid. The two girls beside him rolled their eyes, but Aria just laughed.

"Once this is all over, you'll get what you want."

"Yes!" he hissed in victory.

"But I'm worried about you and your friends." Lily took her hand and her brows almost met.

Lily had seen her get into trouble too many times to count using all her fingers on her body. But that trouble was a different one. It was a big one. And as the official mother of their group, worry couldn't be separated from her.

"We'll be fine, Lily. How many times have I survived? I can handle myself."

"I know you can. But... if what you're saying is true. That—That your Director is cruel then... I don't want to imagine what he may do to you."

"I have a friend with me. We'll watch each other's back."

Lily shook her head and exhaled. "Why don't you just retreat? Okay? That's safer than going in a lion's den."

"We can't. Everyone will be in grave trouble if we won't fight, Lily. You, Ten, Uno, the lot of you and our peers. You've known from what I told you what the Director did. Can you really just sit back and let him do it to the rest of the country? Worse the world?"

Her friend couldn't utter a word. Lily had her principles and she was loyal to them. She also didn't want her friends within harm's reach at the same time.

"We'll be safe, Lily," Aria uttered with all the assurance she could muster. "I've promised it to Sol, I've promised it to our teacher, I've promised it to my friends, and I've promised it to a special someone. Now, I promise to you three, we'll be safe."
