"What's wrong, Brooklyn?"
I repeat.

I haven't seen her mad yet.

She huffs.

I play with my fingers.

"I'm not fucking mad!"

I roll my eyes.

Okay.😒

I don't say anything for a second.

"You are. Come on, tell uncle Jordan what's wrong, princess."
I tease, trying to cheer her up.

"Teddy, stop."

I laugh quietly.

"I already said I wasn't mad, geez. What the hell do you want?"

I close my eyes.

"Aww, do you want one of my hugs? You know it'll cheer you up."
I continue to try to make her feel better.

"What? No! Shut the fuck up."

I sigh, laying back down on my stomach.

"Wow I didn't know you cursed so much."
I observe.

There is silence for a moment.

Then I hear a muffled scream.

"I don't fucking like you!"

I can't help but smile.

Why am I enjoying this so much?

Provoking her, I mean.

"I'm hanging up."
She threatens.

I panic.

No.

"Wait. Come over!"
I regret the words as soon as they come out.

Weird.

That may seem weird to her.

I bite my lip helplessly, waiting to hear what she's going to say.

She doesn't say anything.

"Or not."
I add quietly, knowing that I fucked up.

"Ted-"

"Me and Rex miss you."
I cut her off.

I want her to say yes.

"You just saw me 3 hours ago."
She reminds me.

"So what? What about Rex?"
I ask, rolling my eyes.

She loves my dog.

I'm not jealous or anything.

I'm lying. I'm sorry.😫

"You serious? You want me to come over?"
She asks hesitantly after a moment.

"Yes."
I say.

And stay for the night.

And be my girlfriend.

I don't say that out loud, of course.

I think it though.

Which really freaks me out.

It's barely been any time, yet I want her.

I really really want her.

I'm so confused and it's making me so mad.

I hate being confused.

And another thing is, I let her in so easily.

I have no idea why, it just felt right.
