"Teddy, how's your day so far?"
I ask, sitting down next to him.

He closes his book, grinning happily at me.

"Better now that you're here. I miss you so much."
He says, reaching for my hand.

I laugh, looking behind us and waving at Mrs. Barnes.

"Teddy, I just saw you in 4th period."
I tell him.

He rolls his eyes, pouting.

"So? I couldn't kiss you in 4th period."

He leans towards me.

I laugh again, pushing his shoulder away playfully.

"Can you read to me again?"
I ask, leaning my head on his shoulder.

He smiles.

"Of course, baby."
He clears his throat, opening his book again.

"I don't have The Maze Runner today. You always catch me off guard."
He says apologetically, showing me the cover of his book.

"That's okay. I just love hearing your voice."
I tell him, getting comfortable.

He slouches down a little, wrapping his arm around me, getting comfortable too.

"Okay. A little while after the golden gate closed, Mike and Elizabeth went out in search of their beloved Mary..........."

He starts reading and I close my eyes, leaning against him.

That's how Gabby and Jacob finds us a few minutes later.

"Aww, you guys are so cute. Jay, how come you don't read to me? That's so romantic."
Gabby complains, punching her boyfriend lightly before sitting down across from us.

Jacob rolls his eyes, sitting down too.

Teddy stops.

I huff.

"Fuck off guys. How did you even find us?"
I whine, scooting my chair a little closer to Teddy's.

Jacob scowls.

"Oh it was easy. There are people buzzing about seeing you guys in here out in the hallway. Some people just love to gossip."
He says.

I sigh quietly.

Teddy's arm tightens around me.

"Oh. That's nice."
He says quietly, frowning.

Gabby just stares at us.

"You guys are like, the ideal couple. A few girls in PE were talking about it earlier and I over heard. You started a trend sis. Now everyone wants a quiet boy."
She says, putting her elbows on the table, then putting her chin in her hands.

"But not you right? You want a bad boy."
Jacob says, flexing his muscles.

"You know I do, babe."
She says, kissing him on the cheek.

I roll my eyes.

I stay silent, looking around.

My little hideout table from the world is now full.

All 4 seats.

I never thought this would happen.

I rub Brook's arm slowly, listening to them talk.
