Petyr gave (Y/n) a soft kiss on the cheek before the two went their separate ways. Petyr off to the meeting of the small council, and (Y/n) to the great library. She had had a restless night. Doing little more than toss and turn. Yet when she had been able to get a few moments rest, her dreams had been filled with visions of a magnificent wedding held in the great Sept. The air filled with falling petals and the heady smell of flowers, as she sat by her brother's side. Her eyes growing wide as she looked up to where the High Septon stood, ready to perform the marriage ceremony, to see the man that was to be wed. Her heart breaking as she saw Jaime, dressed in his finest armour. A huge smile on his face as he waited for his bride to be presented to him. (Y/n) feeling as though she had been the instrument of her own heart break. Her own loneliness. When she had awoken, she had cried. Cursing at Jaime, at his lady love, but most of at herself. Yet she had promised her brother that she would be her normal self today. That she would smile and pretend that all was well. So, if she could just make it to the library without bumping into Jaime, she could spend the rest of the day quietly with Tyrion. Wrapped up in one of the weighty tomes that lined the walls of the library. Listening as the small man regaled her with one story or another.

"Tyrion?" (Y/n) called out, as she pushed open the door. Relieved that she had managed to walk through the long corridors of the Keep without bumping into anyone in particular. The mockingbird hoping that she wouldn't have to see anyone but the little lion for the rest of the day.

"Tyrion! Where are you?" (Y/n) called out again, as she made her way over to her usual seat, looking out for the small man as she went.

"Tyrion Lannister! If this is some kind of joke, I am not in the mood." (Y/n) huffed, stamping her foot on the floor as she waited for the youngest Lannister to reply.

"Fine! Be like that!" (Y/n) exclaimed. Pulling out her chair. The young Baelish deciding that given she was already at the Keep, she might as well make the most of her last time in the great library. Hoping that she could find something to hold her interest until Petyr came to find her.

(Y/n) stopped. Looking down at the seat. Her brows furrowing as there on the cushion that covered the wooden chair, sat a small posy of flowers tied together with a length of elaborately decorated silken ribbon. Her fingers hesitantly ghosting over the tiny delicate blooms. She knew the blossoms well; they came for the Kingswoods. From under the great trees, and in the dappled clearings where the royal deer roamed. Where she would sometimes escape to, when the smell of the rancid capital would get too much. When the grey, sadness of the city seemed to drain every last ounce of joy from her soul. She knew that it was not necessarily the safest place for a lady to venture by herself. That if Petyr ever found out that that was where she would go when he was either at the Keep or at one of his brothels, he would be far from happy. But it was her sanctuary. The only peace in the chaos that was her life now. Yet why the exquisite pink and deep blue blooms would be here. She didn't know.

Carefully, she picked up the flowers. Making sure not to damage the fragile petals. Bringing them up to her nose so that she could take in the sweet odour that reminded her of the peace and tranquillity of her special little spot in the great forest. Perhaps Tyrion had purchased them, so that he could present them as a token to one of her brothers new, er........ladies, and had forgotten them there. Perhaps Bronn.....no, not Bronn. Flowers were certainly not in the sellswords vocabulary. He was more the 'how much do you charge? Now get your skirts up' kind of man. (Y/n) not sure that Bronn even knew that there was a library in the great castle. And even more sure that he wouldn't know what to do in the library, even if he did find it.

Perhaps.......and she scolded herself for not thinking of this first. Perhaps they were the posey of wildflowers that she had recommended that Jaime get for his lady. The sweet token of love that she had spoken to him about. Yet, what they would be doing in the library she couldn't understand. Jaime wasn't really one for reading. Tyrion had told her that his older brother had had trouble with words in his youth. That the letters became jumbled in his mind as he looked at them. But that their father had spent four hours every day with him until he had learned. The golden lion so resenting having to spend so much time with books, that he no longer seemed to care for them.

(Y/n) made her way over to the large table and place the spray on the cold wooden surface. Part of her wanted to stomp on them. To destroy the perfect petals. And if she had been her brother, then maybe she would have. But who was she to deny others love just because she had been denied it herself? No, she maybe a Baelish, but as much as she loved Petyr, she would never be like him. So, the flowers would stay as perfect as they were. And all she could hope for, was that they didn't belong to Jaime, so that he didn't come looking for them.

                                                        >>--------------------------------<<

"She's found them." Jaime whispered, as he and Tyrion watched the young mockingbird from the shadows.

"Of course, she's found them. I told you that was her seat." Tyrion replied, hushing his older brother as the two lions continued to look at (Y/n). Both of them smiling as she brought the small posey up to her nose.

Jaime had finally confessed his feelings for the beauteous mockingbird, to his brother. Asking what Tyrion thought he could do to win over the exquisite (Y/n)'s heart. And even though the little man had been able to tell him about all the things that he had learned about (Y/n), during their time spent together in this very location, there had been important things that he hadn't been able to advise him on. And that was how to truly speak to her heart. So, for that, Tyrion had told Jaime to go straight to the source. To learn what he needed to learn, from the lady herself. And that was why Jaime had found himself at (Y/n)'s little home yesterday. Why he had asked her, what he had asked her. Then he had left so that he could tell Tyrion, and the two lions could hatch their little plan. A plan to finally have Jaime let (Y/n) know how he felt for her.

"She's put them down. She doesn't like them." Jaime continued, as he watched (Y/n) place the flowers carefully on the large old table.

"Nonsense. They are her favourites. She always brings back a few of those very blooms, whenever she has been to the Kingswood. Maybe she simply believes that they are not for her. And if that is the case, I think that we most move on to my new plan." Tyrion insisted. A smile growing across his lips, as Jaime stared down at him. The confusion evident in the older lion's eyes.

"New plan? What new plan? We never discussed............" Jamie began. The golden lion suddenly finding himself pushed out from his hiding spot. His hands knocking over a large pile of books as he tried to stop himself from falling over. The Kingsguards heart almost bursting from his chest as (Y/n) turned to look at him. Her beautiful eyes gazing at him in disbelief.
