My absolute apologies for this part taking so long to come. But hopefully I will now be able to continue with it properly. Hope that you enjoy.

"She wants what?" Tywin bellowed in disbelief, banging his fist on the table as Jaime told his father of (Y/n)'s demands.

"How dare she make demands on this town. Does she think that she can hold us to ransom?" Tywin growled, as he began to pace his office, rolling his eyes as Robert took a swig from his metal hip flask. The Mayor seeming to be oblivious to what was going on around him.

"(Y/n) isn't holding anyone to ransom, father. Given what we are asking her to do, I think that she has every right to ask for money before she has to face the Walker's gang. (Y/n) isn't stupid, she knows exactly why you have brought her and Waya in, instead of using our own men. She knows that you think they are dispensable. That you think that they are just a couple of Indians that no one will miss. All she is doing is making sure that she has something to show for it before she puts her life in danger for this town." Jaime replied. The sheriff not surprised by his father's rants.

Jaime had grown up watching the beautiful bounty hunter. He had seen her skills grow under the tutelage of her father, and her mother's people. He had seen her blossom into the most beautiful flower of the desert. And he had to admit that he had hated it when she had decided to leave Kings Landing, instead of taking on the role of Sheriff. Yet he knew that if anyone could survive out there in the wilds. That if there was anyone that could survive on the great plains, it would be Onacona. The white owl that could hunt in the night.

"You should listen to your son, Tywin. He knows exactly what he's talking about." A voice came. The three men turning to see (Y/n) leant up against the door jamb.

"Waya and I are not going to risk our necks for you and this town, on just a promise of money. And it won't kill you to put your hand in your pocket. With the amount of money your gold mines are making, $500 is a drop in the ocean to you. I would like to enjoy my time in Kings Landing before the Walker's decide to come back to town. And hopefully, I have a few old friends coming here to help me with your problem. Friends whose services won't come cheap. So, I would suggest that let the moths out of your wallet, Judge. And hand over the $500." (Y/n) added, as she made her way over to where Jaime stood and kissed him on the cheek.

"$500? What could you possibly need $500 for? And that Indian..........."

"Stop right there, Judge! One more word out of your mouth about Waya or any other member of my family, and swear to God, that I will turn around right now, and leave you and this town to the Walker's gang. I will leave and let those sick bastards do whatever they like to this place. And I promise you that I won't lose a wink of sleep about doing it." (Y/n) growled menacingly. Stopping the Judge midsentence. The bounty hunter well aware that Tywin had as low an opinion about her mother's people, as everyone else in the town did. Yet she had no intention of letting him voice that opinion.

(Y/n) also knew that what she had just told Tywin, wasn't exactly the truth. That there was really no way that she would let anything happen to Jaime, Tyrion, Bronn or Sandor. That she wouldn't let them face the Walker's alone. Despite how good all of them were with their guns. Yet she wouldn't let the Judge know that. Over the years, she had perfected quite a poker face. (Y/n) priding herself on the fact that even Old Wild Bill himself, had once commented that not even he could read her. So, she knew all to well how to not let her emotions show. She knew all too well, how to con a conner. And Tywin Lannister was one of the biggest conners that you could ever wish to find.

"I need the $500, because I need it. That should be enough. And as I said, my old friends, don't work for free. They will also want to be able to enjoy their time in this wonderful place before they get shot at. So, $500, or I leave. The choice is yours, gentlemen." (Y/n) added. A small smile creeping across her lips, as Tywin moved to his desk and opened one of the draws. Pulling out a roll of notes and counting out the required amount. Grumbling as he did it.

"These old "friends" of yours. I don't want more criminals.........."

"These men are not criminals. They are soldiers. Gentlemen of fortune. And if they are willing to come here and save your necks, then I would be very careful about calling any of them criminals to their faces." (Y/n) once again interrupted. Taking the cash from the Lannister patriarchs' hand, and placing it in her pocket.

"Now, Mayor. Judge. If you will excuse me. I will be escorting the good Sheriff here, back to my residence. And treating him to the best breakfast in town." (Y/n) said, nodding respectfully, as she took Jaime's arm, and led him out of his father's offices.

                                                        >>------------------------------<<

"So? Are you going to tell me what you're up to?" Jaime asked, as he and (Y/n) made their way back across the street and up to the brothel. The Sheriff enjoying the fact that (Y/n)'s arm seemed to fit so exactly into his. Their reflection in the store windows making Jaime imagine all the things that could have been if she had chosen to stay in Kings Landing. How they seemed to make a perfect match.

"Of course, I am. Goldilocks. How could I not tell one of my favourite Sheriff what I have in mind. But first, I need food and coffee. You can't expect a girl to think, when she hasn't had any coffee." (Y/n) explained, as she dodged the piles of horse shit, that littered the main street.

"What do you mean, 'one of my favourite sheriffs?' I thought I was your favourite Sheriff?" Jaime joked. Trying to sound as light-hearted as possible, yet not liking the idea that he wasn't at the top of (Y/n)'s list.

"Wellllllllllll. There is old Wyatt. He is a handsome thing." (Y/n) laughed, as she saw the disgruntled look on Jaime's face.

"Come on Jaime. You know that there is no room in my heart for any other Sheriff. It is too filled with you. Now, will you stop pouting and hurry up. I'm starving, and I am sure that Tyrion and Bronn will already be waiting for me. I want all of you together when I tell you what I want to do." The bounty hunter explained. Kissing Jaime on the nose, before pulling him along. (Y/n) hoping that the two lions and the ex-gunslinger would be happy to go along with her plan.
