Meet the lucky seven winners of BTS' concert competition

ARMY, it's your girl Anon.ARMY.Girl with the latest BTS news, and by Namjesus is it good!

HYBE posted a press release onto Weverse last night about the winners of BTS' concert competition. How I wish my name was on the list, but luck just isn't my lady. 

In the press release, HYBE gave out general information on the seven winners. The lucky ARMY chosen each come from a different part of the world, from Europe to the Americas, Asia to Australia. HYBE stated that each of the winners had captured the hearts of BTS; each member picked a person who they liked the entry answers of. Sources say HYBE is treating these lucky seven like royalty. 

ARMY were so excited to see a livestream with all seven of our handsome men. It's been a while since we have seen the whole group together in a live, so it was a nice surprise for us. 

Thanks to the livestream, we learned a little more on who the lucky seven people are. Here's a little that we know about each of the lucky seven.

Yokono H. – 25 from Osaka, Japan. She was RM's winner – he said he chose her for her raw honesty about a hard time in her life.

Poppy P. – 18 from Columbus, Ohio, USA. Jin chose her after hearing about how she worked hard and created her own destiny in getting into medical school despite being the first person in her family to go to university.

Augusto Z. – 16 from São Paulo, Brazil. V's choice was a talent competition winner who created a song that sampled Yoongi's song as Gloss 'Dream Money'. I have seen the video and this kid is a genius! He rapped in English, Korean and Portuguese.

Hunter W. – 22 from Bath, England. Jungkook said his winner was someone who he really wanted to talk to. Hunter is blind, but he sees colour when he listens to music. He first found out he had this when he listened to BTS the first time. Jungkook joked he wanted to know the colour of Euphoria.

Sophie G. – 9 from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Jimin selected this youngster after hearing about her childhood and how she has become a phoenix (his words). Sophie was adopted and bonded with her new mum by listening to BTS.

Casper H. – 13 from Berlin, Germany. Suga's choice is a young LGBTQ+ pioneer who is leading the cause for more acceptance of gay soulmates. He said that Taejoon are his relationship goals.

Hope M. – 32 from Bali, Indonesia. J-Hope unknowingly chose the winner whose name is literally hope. He said he was touched by how she was trying to honour her late son's dying wish of being able to see his favourite band before he passed. Hoseok said it was her love and dedication for her living out her son's dream that tugged on his heartstrings.

I would like to commend BTS and HYBE for their diverse choices – they could have selected people who lived close to Korea, but instead they decided to go with ARMY all across the world. I don't know if it was just luck that this happened, or if there was some sort of thought process. I wish these lucky winners all the best, and say hi to Taejoon for me!
