"This is the restricted area!"

"C'MON IT ISN'T that bad," Claire whined as I disappeared from the room, discarding my empty lunch pack in the bins. Upon re-entry I threw her a scowl, moving back to my notebook, triple-underlining words I already explained to her during lunch,

'He saw my butt and the pink princess underwear that barely covered it"

Tossing the book over to her, I tumbled into the sheets. She sucked the air between her teeth, glancing up at me from the notebook, giving me a barely assuring smile.

"It was dark maybe he didn't see as much?" she added. It made a little sense and made me feel a whole lot better, but the thought in my mind was dragging it out in a wave of embarrassment.

"C'mon T," Claire sighed, pushing my shoulder back gently, "so what if he saw? It wasn't your fault I mean..." she trailed off swallowing, "he held up the ladder for you and he was just looking up it's not his fault either-"

I gave her such a glare that even Zali's evil cat which always bothered me meowing through the night, would have jumped off my balcony.

She burst out laughing instead, rolling on my bed. I watched her as she did, a little angry at the fact that her laughter was infectious because I cracked an involuntary smile. She grinned finally sitting up, pushing her straight dark locks out of her face,

"Look," she dragged, as her laughter died down, "it was dark..." she repeated, choking down a chuckle, "at least you have a nice butt."

I gave her a blank look that just made more of her laughter escape.

I stood up walking towards the table as she drowned in yet another round of giggles speaking in between,

"Look at the positive side," she finally whined turning to me, "at least he told you, and now you know," she finished, "most boys wouldn't."

I shut my eyes at this, before opening them and writing down my thoughts on the issue,

"I'm so embarrassed I never want to see him again."

She read this before sighing, moving toward the edge of the bed.

"I don't think you have a choice."

I raised both eyebrows at this.

Oh, I would avoid him like the plague.

"Since..." Claire dragged me standing up, feeding me the mathematics of the equations "Daya is your roommate and Luca is her friend, you're going meet him again sometime."

I closed my eyes at this revelation, feeling like I could scream into a pillow. If it was going to happen, I hope a whole millennium passes over so I can die in this embarrassment.

"C'mon," Claire whined, taking my hand and putting me on my feet, "we have exactly..." she trailed off glancing at her wristwatch, "thirty minutes till afternoon Origins Class. I was thinking we could take a walk in the King's Gardens before we leave?"

Gardens, she said.

The gardens had flowers. This was my opportunity to hunt for Mom's white roses. I nodded jotting something down,

'I love roses' Claire read aloud,

"Great! I saw plenty of them in the flowers section. It's near the restricted but not quite in it, so we should be okay."
