"But before salvation, one first must be at the brink of death"

"WE SHALL BEGIN from the Origins of man," Mr. Ogustus continued, pausing in front of the first desk in my row. He stood up straighter, placing both hands on the top of his cane as he stared out,

"I would like to think that Men were the designer's greatest creations," he began, raw intellect in his eyes and yet a sudden sadness to his tone, "there is always a certain beauty in the simple things," he trailed off, hands clasping around his cane, tapping it on the floor before recapturing our attention.

"There have been bones discovered by men of advanced physical knowledge, I believe we call them...scientists." he trailed off and a few chuckles went around the room at that statement. He grinned, chuckling too, before turning into a much more serious tone, "Bones found within different times, in various locations scattered around the earth, now going down in history as the man that once was, or man's original form, before evolution."

A form before evolution?

Bones discovered around the world by scientists, telling the history of the human species, supporting the theory of a revolutionized man- I put all this together in my mind, the scenes flipping like the memories they were.

I had studied history as my life depended on it back at the palace. I couldn't escape it seeing as I had a personal tutor and unlike here, where Mr. Ogustus's eyes wandered around the classroom, my history teacher's eyes could only ever rest on me, hence I needed to be prepared for any kind of question she would deem to fire.

That is why I knew that Mr. Ogustus was talking about one thing, and one thing only, the bones of the olden day man, the ape-man- bones found all over the world proving that the human species revolutionized from Apes.

Basic Big Bang Theory.

"Homo-Habilis, Zinjathropas, Australopithecus- the primate, prehistoric man, I simply call them... the wild men," a small smile grazed his face and I could tell he quite enjoyed the fact that we were all enamored with his story, "For that is their origin. Once very much human-like warriors that kept to the forests, plains, and jungles, evolutionized by the deceiver into beings of his likeness," He paused, eyes narrowing down at nothing in particular, "younglings you must know where The Deceiver gets his name from. He is a copycat, a knock-off, deceiving, illusionizing, and hiding the truth, which is and has always been his main attribute. There was one power even a mere mortal has over him, and that is the power of approval. You must know that the Deceiver can only deceive those that give it access, as is with any other thing that belongs to the darkness, such as the demonkind.":

"I cannot reveal how access is granted, but I will confirm it ranges from a simple verbal agreement to denial or even the degrading of the mind in its mental state, I will, however, state that the most common mode to access is fear." He paused staring down at the girl seated in the chair just in front of him, "and youngling, Fear is creations greatest weakness, for it was only the power of fear that led the great Zeus to exile all Dilectus power in the Aurora Borealis, fear that heroes would one day take over the place of the gods and in turn created the conversion, It was fear that kept humanity at the mercy of the heathen gods centuries ago, and now, even as technology moves greater heights, there are now more fears than ever, from global warming to the irrational fear that one-day machines will take over the world," he chuckled as if it was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard,

"Men fear mortality and that is what gives the Dark guardian his power, Men fear each other and that is why wars have wiped out a third of the earth's population, and now men fear Converts, and that is why 17 years ago the world lost more than a quarter of its population,"
