He went ahead, and Nara suddenly grabbed my hand.
"Miss Aspen, can I borrow Paige for a few minutes?" She asked.
"Sure, I was going inside anyways", my mother said, leaving us both.
"Come here", Nara commanded, and we headed for the forest.
"Slow down, Nara!" I said, dying for her deadly grip.
We finally reached a point in the forest and, she stopped.
"Soooo."
"I took you far away so Zayne doesn't interrupt your thoughts."
"Now, spill the beans!" She squealed, and I sat down on a large rock.
"What do you want me to say?" I asked, my cheeks turning red.

"What do I want you to say?"
"Everything!"
"You smell like sex, it's suffocating."
"And, Zayne's scent is all over you!" She said, taking a seat beside me.
"I didn't know you had it in you, Paige."
"Did it hurt really bad?" She asked, and I nodded.
"It hurt so bad", I said.
"Is that so?" She said with a smirk.
"Yeah, but it stopped and honestly, it was the best feeling ever", I said, my mind trying to remember what happened last night.
Nara noticed that I was blushing and she waved her hand in my face.
"Hello?"
"Are you trying to summon the alpha here?"
"Stop thinking about it!" She warned.

"Oh, right."
"You wanted to tell me something yesterday, before you went to get some dick", she said, and I opened my mouth in shock.
"You're rotten to the core", I said.
"Oh please, I haven't even done it yet."
"Unlike some people", she said and I rolled my eyes at her.
"Nara, promise you won't scream", I begged and she nodded, waiting for me to speak.
"I have two mates", I said, my eyes expecting her to explode.
"Duh."
"We all do."
"Your mate and your wolf, are mates with Zayne and his wolf", she said in a duh tone, but she still wasn't understanding.
"That's not the point."
"I mean, I'm also mates with the beta, Adrian", I said, and she paused.
"Mates with who?"
"ADRIAN?" She asked, her voice sounding like she was about to scream.

"How is that possible?"
"How can you have two mates?"
"It's not right!"
She said with worry seething from her tone, and I sighed.
"I know, I know."
"But that's what happened."
"Although, after I slept with Zayne, I don't really feel the bond with Adrian that much."
"Actually, during my heat, Adrian and I..uh..", I stuttered, and my best friend's eyes opened.
"You slattern woman!" She said, slapping my arm.
"Ouch!" I said in discomfort.
"Did you sleep with Adrian too?"
"Oh, my god, Paige!"
"How could you?" She said.
"I didn't sleep with him, okay?" I defended, but she wasn't convinced.
"You don't believe me?"
"You can even check the alpha's sheets, it's stained with my blood!" I said, and she eyed me.

"Okay, I believe you."
"Now, what happened between you and Adrian?" She asked.
"Well, I was on the brink of death during my heat, so, Adrian was there."
"And, his body was so cool, and it was just what I needed."
"He resisted me, but, because I was sexually excited, I kissed him", I said slowly, and she stared at me.
"You kissed him?"
"He wasn't the one who made the first move?"
"Wow, that man has some self control", Nara commented.
"What else happened?" She asked.
"I don't remember much of that night because of the pain I was in, but I do remember that he was on top of me, and that was the first time I wanted to be touched so badly."
"I didn't feel like I was doing anything wrong, and I just wanted Adrian to continue and not stop."
"But, he stopped eventually, when I felt better."
"When I woke up, he was gone", I explained, and Nara exhaled.

"Hmm."
"This is some serious shit."
"You really have to stay away from him."
"Let the bond disappear by itself."
"Since you already mated with Zayne, it should have been severed already, but I guess it's still there."
"The only way you can forget him, is if you continue to spend time with Zayne."
"And I'm not saying that you should be with Zayne, just because you wanna forget Adrian."
"Be with Zayne because you love him, not because of the mate bond", she said.
"Do you love him?" She asked.

"I don't know", I told her truthfully.
"He's, hot and cold at the same time."
"I can't seem to understand him sometimes, and I hate when he gets bossy."
"It's almost like my wolf does not want to be commanded."
"But, when Rose and Dylan were together, it felt right."
"Like, I belonged in his arms."
"And that there was no way I could avoid it", I said.
"He's your true mate then."
"Those feelings for Adrian do not mean anything."
"You are the Luna now, and you must not be distracted by another wolf."
"If Zayne hears of this, who knows what he'll do to Adrian?"

"He'll probably kill him, and you, your position may be taken away!" Nara said, making me scared.
The thought of Adrian getting killed was alarming, but not as scary as me not being the Luna again.
I already had Zayne's blood flowing in my veins, so, if he removed me as Luna, it would be worse than death itself.
My body would drain itself of my blood, and I would lose my wolf.
And the pack bond would be broken. That pain was like your head splitting in two, and I didn't want to think about it.
"So, I should try to love Zayne right?" I asked her, and she nodded.
"He's always busy, and he doesn't even look at me", I said.
"Says who?"
