chapter seventy five - phoenix taming

 The barrier of magma opened, and the phoenixes came through. 

 Hide!

 Hide? Where to?!

 Anywhere you can! No matter what! Phoenixes are really good observing creatures, but bad hearers. Also, they can burn-

 Wait. Burn? I have fire abilities. I can control their fire!

 You don't have a very skilled fire technique set up, do you?

 Oh, dang it! I don't have any. What is a fire technique in the first place? Can't I just use my basic magic? I do have structure though. Where you make different sources of flames, like red, white, blue, yellow, gold, silver, and etc.

 Then....please just use the silver flames. That's a level higher than their magma flames. Use Flame Command to make it burn brighter.

 "Hide!" Ria shouted at everyone as they started to panic. I hid as everyone ran and hid away. Then, I tried blurting out Flame Command as Lady Victoria told me. But, it didn't work, so I tried several hand gestures until I found one, clapping twice.

 Wow.

 "Flame Command, SILVER!" I chanted loudly as an immense silver flame lit up above my right hand.

 I came toward a phoenix who then looked at me, it had no eyes like the description Ria told me. It started to chase me. Although, for some reason, my silver flame touched its eye.

 It fainted.

 What the heck was that?! The most shocking thing happened. I touched it, but luckily, me finger didn't burn.

Did it die?

Please catch on! It did not die, it just came to a quick coma.

How is it a quick coma?!

Ok, fine..

I turned to another phoenix and I looked at it in the eye. I looked into the other eye. It was the color Ria had described! Finally!!

Then, instead of the phoenix attacking me, it smiled at me. I looked at it carefully, and I notice the change of their eyes. It was a bit brighter.

Then, it touched me with it's burning feather, but I felt power. It was calming, and it made me feel more confident and comfortable. In the last moment, as I blinked, I felt myself levitate.

It was the greatest feeling I have felt.

Then, reality struck me, and everything I felt once was gone. But, this phoenix was calmly next to me, on my shoulder.

The others saw me, amazed. They tried to touch my tamed phoenix, and surprisingly, it didn't attack, instead it just purred.

Somehow, the other phoenixes responded like we were phoenixes. It was serene and lively. In the next moment, the phoenix turned into a fox made of flames. It was majestic, yet sly.

In the moment, a woman- wait, that's Queen Persephone! Oh, yes! Let's get back to En, although it hasn't been a week, as planned.

Not really, more like earlier than expected. The queen smiled at us sadly, as always, and then, a bright light shined before us.

And, I know we are off to the upper world... Wait, will the phoenix I tamed come too?
