two days after the boys had met, yeosang received jongho's response. he smiled bright at the boy's phone number and carefully typed it into his phone, checking it twice before he saved the contact and typed out his first message to the boy.

hi jh :) it's your penpal!

the boy quickly hit send, then dropped his phone on his bed and widened his eyes, amazed by his own confidence. he had no idea  how he managed to send that message, but he was proud of himself.

his phone buzzed mere minutes later, getting the boy excited once again.
