An Immoral Act

"Before I take you to your workshop do you want anything to eat?"

"Hell no..."

"Ahahahahaha!"

This old man must be quite playful considering how he would ask someone if they wanted anything to eat after seeing him work with a corpse...

The few disciples of the Awakened Corpses Faction that saw Elder Shu would respectfully bow and give a smile.

They each gave Ye Gui Feng a look that's a mix of pity and welcoming.

(This old man must have made a demonstration for them all as well...)

Standing outside of an Immortal Cave Ye Gui Feng is completely dumbfound.

"An Immortal Cave?"

Back in the Seven Rivers Sect only the inner sect disciples would have immortal caves as their place of residence.

"The number of disciples this faction has is low so everyone can have one until it reaches a certain limit. But well that number probably won't be reached in my lifetime and other disciples don't really wish to live close to us due to our crafts."

Ye Gui Feng can understand why other disciples wouldn't want a cave in the domains of the Awakened Corpses Faction.

Seeing Elder Shu off Ye Gui Feng made himself at home. He didn't take any belongings with him so he easily settled in.

"*Sigh* so this is going to be my new home?"

The Immortal cave had two separate rooms and each room along with the entrance has a sealable door. One is meant to be a workshop while the other is meant for personal living.

Wanting to forget the things that he saw for today Ye Gui Feng quickly went to sleep.

"Sect master, might I ask as to whom this Ye Gui Feng is?"

Elder Shu returns back to sect master Long Xing He immediately after getting Ye Gui Feng settled into the sect.

"He's... Well..."

Making sure that there was no one else around Long Xing He beckons for Elder Shu to come closer before whispering into Elder Shu's ears.

"Xie Mo Xin's disciple."

"...!"

Elder Shu widens his eyes in astonishment upon hearing this name. Pulling away from Long Xing He Elder Shu's lips twitch.

"He's that old devil's disciple?"

"Yes. Do keep a good eye over him. We've been entrusted to keep him alive."

Elder Shu nods with a sigh.

"Understood."

There was way to tell if it was morning or night in the Burial Grounds Sect as it is located underground. Since that is the case Ye Gui Feng assumes that it is day time upon waking up.

Walking out of his Immortal Cave Ye Gui Feng looks up at the ceilings of the sect. There is a massive white crystal that serves to illuminate the entirety of the grounds beneath it.

"*Sigh*"

Ye Gui Feng sighs as he slaps his cheeks with his hands before going back into his immortal cave. He takes out the manuals given to him by Elder Shu and carefully looks them over.
