"Hm?"

Xiao Ju Hong looks back behind her towards the direction of Mount Evil Blood.

Upon hearing the enraged roar that had most likely come from Yao Xie Xian Ye Gui Feng knew better than to reveal his identity.

(Looks like I'm taking this identity with me to my grave...)

Inwardly Ye Gui Feng sighs. How could this girl be so naïve? But then again perhaps that is simply a part of her charm.

Seeing Xiao Ju Hong puffs her cheeks slightly puts an ecstatic expression on Ye Gui Feng's face.

With cold sweat rolling down his face Ye Gui Feng has a completely dumbfounded expression on his face.

This is Ye Gui Feng's first time seeing Yao Xie Xian in person.

This person who is the Yao family's clan chief with the appearance of a middle aged man gives off an air of icy coldness. Their face seems to be covered up in a layer of frost making Ye Gui Feng even more frightened by him.

"Xieshen you haven't answered my question."

Ignoring Yao Xie Xian's sudden appearance Xiao Ju Hong continues to look towards Ye Gui Feng much to Yao Xie Xian's displeasure.

Yao Xie Xian stands slightly to the side and gives Ye Gui Feng a glare through his bloodshot eyes.

(Th-This damn bastard is far too scary! What the hell!?)

Ye Gui Feng knew instantly that if he answers with "like" he will die and if he answers "dislike" he will also die.

If Ye Gui Feng answers with "like" that means that Xiao Ju Hong will be happy and return to converse with him.

But if that happens Yao Xie Xian will make Ye Gui Feng's life miserable enough that it will drive the boy to suicide. There is also the possibly of Yao Xie Xian just ending Ye Gui Feng's life in his sleep.

(No I don't to be the corpse of a murder mystery! Shit will I even leave a corpse behind when he's done!?)

If Ye Gui Feng answers with "dislike then Xiao Ju Hong might ignore him for a while until he can find a way to make it up to here.

This might not seem bad but if Xiao Ju Hong shows any signs of sadness in front of Yao Xie Xian because Ye Gui Feng had said no then he will be killed on the spot.

(You little bastard if you dare make my daughter cry I'll kill you on the spot! If you say yes to her question, then I'll end you in due time!)

(Goddammit this isn't even a choice! I die either way only difference is I either die right now or I die later! Either way I'm fucked!)

Within the span of a few seconds Ye Gui Feng goes through every possible scenario that he can think of.

(I don't want to make her unhappy. But I'm afraid of dying... I-I...)

Ye Gui Feng grits his teeth and clenches his fists. He glances at Xiao Ju Hong for a moment.

The expression on Xiao Ju Hong's face seem to be very intent on making Ye Gui Feng give her an answer to this question much to Ye Gui Feng's dismay.

(I really, really don't want to make her unhappy...)

Sucking in a breath of air Ye Gui Feng opens his mouth to speak.

"I-"

There is only one option in this situation. The only path to escape and retain his life while keeping the situation at neutral.

"Pffff!"

Ye Gui Feng spews out a mouthful of blood as he falls back towards the ground. He had forced his cultivation base to go out of control so as to escape from the situation by fainting.

Xiao Ju Hong looks toward Yao Xie Xian to which her father sighs before coming closer and puts a hand over Ye Gui Feng's forehead.

Yao Xie Xian inwardly curses at Ye Gui Feng who had fainted from the pain of having his cultivation base go out of control.

In great frustration Ye Gui Feng shakes his head.

As Ye Gui Feng thinks about what to do the figure of a white robed man appears before him.

Readily Ye Gui Feng drops down on his knees and hugs onto Yao Nie Tian's leg while begging for help.
