A month has passed since the inner sect selections that is held on a yearly basis.

Ye Gui Feng has long since recovered completely. He wasn't injured to begin with so there was nothing to heal aside from recovering his magic strength.

Big Brother Deadman had also been repaired after the damages that it received from Feng Jian Yun's attack.

A beautiful girl with a long scorpion braided hair, dressed in a black and gold cheongsam walks through the sect causing the senior disciples to immediately clasp hands and bow.

"Lóng Huángróng! (龙黄蓉)"

Long Huangrong is the daughter of the sect master Long Xing He. Standing behind her are two late stage Core Formation disciples that acts as her body guards while she herself is already at the middle stages of the same cultivation realm.

Long Huangrong scans the scene around her with her golden eyes around and smirks.

"It's been a while since I've come back. Where's the proper greetings?"

Seeing as how clasping hands and bowing wasn't enough every single disciple that are standing got down on their knees and kowtowed.

"Greetings to young mistress!"

A loud chorus of the same greeting are said all at once to which Long Huangrong looks about happily.

"Mm much better."

Satisfied Long Huangrong continues on walking with the two body guards behind her.

[Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!]

Just as Long Huangrong takes another step forward a shocking shriek comes from the distance.

"Mmm the sound of this scream is very pleasing to the ears indeed."

With her mood even better Long Huangrong continues to move towards the central courtyard of the sect.

The place where the scream had come from was none other than from the direction of the Awakened Corpses Faction.

"Goddammit what the hell!?"

"I nearly just..."

"Ugh..."

"I need to change my pants..."

Ye Gui Feng, Hou Jia Bao, and another disciple by the name of Jǔ Tóngzi (举同子) stand at the center of the faction grounds. There was a fourth boy but he had to go change his soiled pants.

"In all my years of operating on corpses this is just..."

In front of the three is the corpse of a giant three meter long lizard. It had been delivered here by a disciple from another faction.

This corpse is quite fresh as well. But that was the issue. Upon cutting the stomach of it open thousands of insects crawled right out scaring the minds of those who had been planning to operate on it.

"Well this saves some work for us to do."

Disgustingly the insects have already eaten away some of the organs of the corpse.
