You Unfilial Son!

One by one members of the elder generation appears at the top of the Evil Blood Mountain's peak. Following after these elders are a large number of juniors.

"Who do you think just experienced an awakening?"

"I've no clue..."

Many of them put on a frown as they really didn't know who it is that had experienced the awakening.

According to the family name registries all of the most promising members of the junior generation have already experienced a bloodline awakening.

For an unknown person to randomly pop up and awaken to the most purest Yao family blood puts a large number of people that are at the top ill at ease.

The most important reason for them being unease is because these individuals' child and grandchildren's futures may very well be at risk. Having a purer blood means a better chance at obtaining the position of future clan chief.

Despite not knowing who it was that had experienced an awakening most of the lower ranked elders put on a pleasant face while looking forward to it.

Ye Gui Feng opens his eyes and sucks in a breath of air. There was a deep sense of comfort being within the fifth trial grounds.

The rain of blood soaks into Ye Gui Feng's ruined clothes and stains his skin red.

After blinking his eyes few times Ye Gui Feng walks out of the rain of blood before quickly swapping out his clothes and dons on a new set of red robes.

"I succeeded?"

Looking down at his hands Ye Gui Feng opens and closes them as he wondered about his current conditions. He did feel a sense of connection towards the blood around him.

At this time Ye Gui Feng is standing in front of the entry way into the sixth trial grounds.

[Having received recognition you may proceed to the sixth trial grounds.]

The same cold voice speaks once more but this time it wasn't as harsh. What it said confirms it all as Ye Gui Feng sighs with relief.

Curious of what's in the sixth trial grounds Ye Gui Feng enters the gate.

"Hm?"

Ye Gui Feng's expression completely falls flat upon entry. He sees many demons of all shape and sizes. All of them look as vicious as what one can imagine.

Many of them wore an ancient set of armor and wields weapons of various types and sizes. A hammer styled cudgel, an edgeless great sword, a sledge hammer, a war axe. Some of these weapons are clearly at the sixth grade of magic treasure rankings as well.

The bodies of these demons are all at least three meters in height and some of them are clearly far above the Core Formation realm. Perhaps the further along one goes there will even be Nascent Soul realm demons.

"No, no, I can't possibly pass through here with my current strength..."

Ye Gui Feng readily retreats and crushes a jade slip to emerge outside of the first trial's gate.

Upon emerging from the trial grounds Ye Gui Feng sees the faces of many older generation practitioners alongside those of his generation. Their expressions when they see him had been that of pleasantness until one by one they frowned and hostility emerges from their auras.

(Ah? What's wrong? Why are the glaring at me like that?)

Seeing this sudden change in the faces of everyone gathered Ye Gui Feng blinks his eyes like a lost child and tilts his head in confusion.
