Teach Them a Lesson

"Ah!"

Ye Gui Feng's eyes snap open as he emerges from within a coffin. He sucks a few deep breaths of air before taking a look around his current location with wide eyes.

Looking down at his own clothes Ye Gui Feng finds himself still dressed in the same set of pearly white robes that Yao Nie Tian had given him.

"This..."

Searching through his storage bag Ye Gui Feng also finds the presence of his Yao family clansman medallion.

"It wasn't a dream...? I-I... I'm alive...?"

This had been Ye Gui Feng's first immortal cave back in the Burial Grounds Sect but...

"..."

Ye Gui Feng steps out of the coffin and crouches down to pick up a red chrysanthemum to which he looks lovingly at.

"Since this is here then... Does that mean that Xiao Ju Hong lived?"

Thinking about the matters that had occur in the Yao family Ye Gui Feng inwardly sighs before storing the chrysanthemum and coffin away and walks out of his immortal cave.

"Senior brother Ye."

"Mm."

Ye Gui Feng nods as a few sect disciples greet him while he moves through the sect. This familiar feeling is quite nice but he sees everyone being on edge for some reason.

The timeline had been altered to make it so that Xiao Ju Hong would live so something must have happened in the Burial Grounds Sect's history.

"Eee?"

Confusion is written on his face as Ye Gui Feng sees a few familiar faces that should have been dead. To his surprise upon searching through the souls in his body he discovers a handful missing.

At the center of the sect Ye Gui Feng also sees a giant crystal installed onto a platform. Magic symbols in the form of rings surround this crystal from top to bottom.

"Strange."

With a frown Ye Gui Feng immediately heads for the grand meeting halls.

The moment that he arrives at the grand meeting halls Ye Gui Feng looks awkwardly at the elders that are gathered here. Within this crowd even the two patriarchs of the sect are here. All of them had a somewhat tired and grim expression on their faces.

"Umm..."

Ye Gui Feng feels like it's been forever since he has last seen everyone. After all he did spend around three years in the Yao family when he slept inside of that coffin.

"That..."

"Xiao Feng did you need something?"

Long Xing He looks at Ye Gui Feng with tired eyes.

"Did the... Heavenly Pillar Sect come?"

"Ah?"

The elders all exchanged a look of confusion before turning to look back at Ye Gui Feng.

"San Xiao did you went into shock from fear?"

Long Huangrong whom Ye Gui Feng hasn't seen in forever is as fierce as ever as she comes out of the back with her arms folded beneath her supply chest.

"Mm I did."

Ye Gui Feng nods as he may as well take that as a way to get to know the situation better.

"This..."

This time even Long Huangrong stares strangely at Ye Gui Feng.

"Child no need to be scared. They won't break in any time soon."
