Chapter 26

A/N: Hey guys! So I read the manga, but didn't exactly finish it. But I'm gonna continue this book.

Yumi's POV

So... it was morning and we find Yoon going somewhere with a cart of food. It is probably for the villagers. Then I don't know how, these guys decided it was a good idea to follow Yoon and so they dragged me along with them. 'These guys never change.' I thought. We were still behind Yoon without him noticing us until... I think it was the old man named Se-Dol who was also the Chief, who suddenly asked "By the way, are those people behind you friends of yours?" Oops, we have been found, yay. "What?" Yoon questioned. He then turned around and saw Yona, Hak, Kija, Shin-Ah, and Jae-Ha standing there like idiots smiling at him, except Shin-Ah. I was standing there getting prepared for some scolding from Yoon. '3...2...1...' "Why are you guys here?!" Yoon questioned loudly. Yona decided to speak "You left in such a hurry, I got worried." She said while trying to warm her hands with her breath. "I accompanied the princess." Kija said. "Zeno came along with Seiryuu's fluff." Zeno said happily. Yoon looked at me as if saying why I am here too and didn't stop them from coming here. That's what happens when Yoon thinks I'm responsible like him... Always looks at me for some sort of 'responsible' answer. *Sigh* "Yoon... I was forcefully dragged here and have no power to stop freaking 6 people. Especially those giant beasts!" I yelled pointing at Hak and Jae-Ha. They just stood there smiling. I heard Yoon sighed, he then yelled "Go back!" "Yoon, I'm hungry." Hak said plainly. "Yoon could you make me some Perilla Porridge?" Jae-Ha asked right after that. 'They sure know how to make someone angry...' I thought with a sweat dripping from my forehead while playing with Ao. "Go back right now. You good for nothings." Yoon said with an irk mark. Then in less than a second everyone was gathered around Shin-Ah because of his fur that he has. "This is really warm." "Right?" I heard some people say. "Are you listening to me you beasts?!" Yoon yelled looking at them. "You're helping this village, right? We'll help you." Yona told Yoon. "Yeah, Yoon. Let us help you." I said. "You guys can't! You guys will attract attention!" He yells. 'Jeez... I'm not the one who will attract attention. It's more likely them.' I thought looking at those crazy bunch. "We'll do our best not to attract attention." Yona said. "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! YOU ATTRACT ATTENTION JUST BY BEING ALIVE!" He screamed. 'Damn, that's kind of mean. But I can't help but agree. lol.' I thought. "This place has sick people and isn't safe. It isn't the kind of place a princess should come to." Yoon said seriously. "Yoon... It is because Onee-san and I are Kouka's Princesses... and especially because we are King II's daughters..." Yona started off seriously. I then decided to finish want she was gonna say. "That we think it is a place we should come to. We want to know... the effects of the things our father did." I said looking serious. I see Yoon looked trouble and looked at the guys. "I get it! Help me out." Yoon said finally agreeing.

(Time Skip)

I was doing some work that would help the villagers and almost finished. When I'm was about finished, I heard some footsteps coming. 'Ahh, the officer of the Fire Tribe has finally arrived. Be prepared you idiots.' I thought while smirking. "Where is the Village Chief?" The Head Officer questioned. "Th...The Chief is over there..." Yoon replied. Yoon and Yona started to run to the others and so I followed them. "Hide! Hide!" Yoon yelled. "What happened?" Hak asked. "An officer came! That's bad, so you guys absolutely can't come out, okay?!" He said. "Officer?" Jae-Ha questioned. "Really? Let's see." Hak said looking pass Yoon. "Don't show your faces, you beasts!!" Yoon yelled then pushing us behind some bushes. I stared at the group of officers that were talking to the Chief. "You can't pay, you say? You want yo go without paying them again?" The Head Officer questioned. 'Jeez, they need to chill. How did they even became officers when they don't even understand the difficulties that has been happening.' I thought, staring at the scene with the others. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The Chief said while bowing. "But the rice crops this year didn't produce much, and we hardly have enough to eat for ourselves. Taxes on top of that are..." The Head Officer then raises his foot and stepped on the Chief pushing his head slamming his face to the ground. 'Oh boy, I'm about to beat some sh*tty people up. How dare they!' I screamed in my head letting out a dark aura. "If you can't pay, sell your children off." The Head Officer said. "N-No, I couldn't...!" The Chief replied. I looked around and see that I'm not the only angry one. I saw Kija with a dark aura around him and showing he claw. "Calm down, Kija. If you come out with that hand, they'll take you away even if you didn't do anything. Right Yumi and Yona?!" Yoon said turning around to look at us only to find me trying to hold Yona back from shooting an arrow. "Yona, calm down. An arrow isn't needed right now." I said with a I'm so done smile after I finished talking. "Yeah, your sister is right. Yona, you can't, okay? Because if they find you two, it will be the worst, okay?" Yoon said freaking out trying to help me calm Yona down. "Master Dol-Bal, there's food over here. See? You had some, didn't you?" One of officer questioned. "It looks like you don't have rice, but this will do, eight? Carry it out." He commanded. Suddenly, I heard a scream. "No! Yoon brought those for us!" A child said while pulling on the Officer's clothes. 'OMG! Child, hurry up and run.' I thought. "This is just the right amount, isn't it? Let's take that child too. Let's sell the child to make up for the insufficient tax." The Head Officer said. 'WHY DON'T YOU JUST SELL YOURSELF! Wait... that sounded kind of wrong to me...' I thought while facepalming myself. "Please have mercy! She's a child who knows nothing of this..." Said the Chief that than got kicked. "If you don't want this, prepare some rice or money!" Yelled the Officer. 'Oh, you guys are so dead. 3...2...1...' I counted down in my mind with an evil smirk. "Gya!" One officer screamed with blood gushing from his soldier. 'Finally, action time from our one and only perverted Ryokuryuu!' I thought happily. "Something jumped..." One officer spoke. "Who did that?!" Another officer screamed. "It was me." Jae-Ha said while raising his hand. I looked at Yoon and saw him with I shocked face. I couldn't help but started laughing. "Why are you laughing!?" Yoon whisper-shouted at me. "Pft...No reason... Pft.." I said trying to hold my laugh. "Who are you? You aren't a part of this village are you?" One officer questioned. "Me? They call me... The Soaring Green Dragon." He said posing in some sort of random pose. "Be careful!" "He's a fool!!" I heard the officers say. 'lol, true. He is a fool.' "Wait! Jae-Ha, I said you couldn't!" Yoon told Jae-Ha. "Yoon. I was going to stay quiet as long as they were just stealing stuff. But do you think I'll pardon an ugly group of people... who use violence against a little girl?" Jae-Ha said. 'What a beautiful speech given. Around of applause.' I thought. I then spaced out for a moment only to find Hak with Shin-Ah's fur... "What is the meaning of this..." I whispered while facepalming myself. Hak called himself the Dark Dragon and then the next moment he threw his weapon away. 'Damn, what a smart move Hak. They totally won't know you as the general because no one is stupid enough to throw their weapon away.' Then all the dragons started appearing attracting more attention. I looked at Yoon seeing him crying mentally telling us to just hide. "We attracted attention regardless, huh?" Yona said. "I told you..." Yoon replied. "Anyway, if I have to attract attention just to live... I must try standing out boldly, right?" Yona said. Yoon then gave a deadplan. Yona then grabbed my hand pulling me out with her. "Wait! You said yourself not meeee!" I whisper-shouted. She didn't even care about what I said and pulled me out of the bush. 'What a wonderful little sister who doesn't listen to her big sister. I don't want to be part of this... because it is how that whole name got created...' I thought while mentally crying and trying to accept my fate. 'I guessed it can't be helped.' I thought and sighed deeply. "You snot-nosed good for nothings!! Are you aware that you causing havoc in our territory?!" Yona shouted while pointing her finger at them. I heard the opposing end questioning her and I think I heard Yoon's soul fly out. "Are you guys bandits?" One officer questioned. "That's right!!" Yona replied loudly without hesitation. 'We are?' I questioned myself. I feel Yona elbowed, she must want me to say something. *Sigh* I try to remember what Yona said in the manga. I remember she was trying to imitate Captain Gi-Gan, so I decided to give it a try. "The food over there, that child... and these villager's things all belong to us!! YOU HEAR, YOU DUMB BRATS!!" I shouted seriously. 'I think that is a good imitation.' I thought mentally giving myself a pet on the back. "Pff... Ha!!" Hak started laughing. "Don't laugh at us, Dark Dragon." Yona said looking at Hak. "May I ask you something? That tome kind of sounded nostalgic." Jae-Ha said while laughing a little. "It's and imitation of... Captain Gi-Gan. Onee-san, I'm surprised that you know that I was going to imitate her and you try to imitate her too." Yona said. "Of course. How can I not know what my little sister is thinking." I said while patting her head. "They are a foolish group. Hurry and throw them out." The Head Officer commanded. "Yumi... Yona..." Yoon started. "Yoon, I'm sorry. I've been prepared to fight the people of Kouka... for a long time." Yona replied. "Same here. I can't wait to see them suffer." I said with an evil smirk. "That being the case..." Kija started. "It can't be helped, can it?" Hak said. "Bosses?" Jae-Ha finished. "Let's gooo!" I shouted.

(Time Skip - 10 seconds after...)

In less than 10 seconds, we beat up those stupid want-to-be officers. What a great day don't you agree. Yona then spoke up "If something happens to this village next time, we..." Hak then said "The Dark Dragon..." That then was followed by Zeno "... and the Happy Hungry Bunch!" I waited for Yona to finish but she was looking at me to finish it. "............ Will make you pay for it!" I said while facepalming myself. 'How many times did I facepalm myself today?' I looked at Yoon and saw a scary face. 'Oh no, looks like he is angry... I'm out of here.' And this is how the wonder story of The Dark AND The Hungry Bunch started... How wonderful...
